    I love that I can scan products and the app pulls up all the nutritional information for me. I also like that I can convert most measurements into grams which helps with weighing food.

    This is the best calorie and nutrient tracker I’ve used and I’ve used several, including MyFitnessPal and Practice Better. Neither of these apps hold a candle to Cronometer. Being able to look at your micro nutrient intake is critical for several areas, which this app makes obvious by breaking it down into categories, like metabolic health, bone health, immune health etc. Additionally, when you look at your micro nutrient intake under your daily report, you can scroll all the way down and look at important nutrient ratios, like that of copper and zinc, for example. Personally, I didn’t realize I had an imbalance between these two micro nutrients which can cause a lot of problems, because zinc competes with the absorption of copper. So if you happen to be supplementing with zinc, you could be accidentally making yourself copper deficient, which can cause a whole host of issues. Thanks to this app, I was able to balance out my macro and micro nutrient intake. I’ve already been recommending it to friends and family!

    Love that this allows you to scan barcodes & shows macros vs FitnessPal where you have to pay to do that. I was thinking of giving it 4 stars just because there’s not a one-click way to add food, but I’m guessing it’s because I haven’t figured out the trick. You can add different things you want to track daily, like weight or measurements……overall very nice.

    For the general users, they are great even with the free option. But they think carrots have vitamin A and walnuts have omega 3…For example. While these have only the precursor in vitamin A and omega 3 and only convert to vitamin A and omega 3 at less than 4%… Typical vegans.

    I’ve been using Cronometer for about 5 years now and it has helped me to manage my weight and track my nutrition. It helps count calories, macro and micronutrients in an easy way. It’s user friendly and o highly recommend it.

    Trying to enter food but all I get is ad for gold. I really don’t have time for this. My main beef is that I don’t want to pay for an upgrade. I realize this is a greedy mindset. 🙄

    This is by far the best tracker I’ve ever worked with. My one gripe, is that, and I haven’t found a single app that does this, take the average of your weigh ins, and the average intake, and figure out an accurate daily expenditure to run off of.
