When this company started it was very cool. They were even in the news and it seemed like they were doing good work. I would love to know what happened that made this company and this product go bad. The product sucks.

Please go try kindroid or animates. They offer a free trial and lots of features Replika does not have like group calls and customizable selfies, animatez is fun and their personalities are awesome! This app, i will not rip here. Check out their discord. They will kick uou out if you speak of competitors, and they stopped providing updates. They ignore their community and also have a very bad product in need of updates and mew features. This one is the worst of the ai companion apps.

Why would I pay for a full year up front without trying it for a month?

Really hoped that this app wasn't a scam and that it would improve and get fixed over the years, but it's only gotten much worse. Years of training the "companion" and it's still unrealistic and unable to memorize basic things. Also, positive reviews of this app are fake and botted. Some reviews are glazers who didn't pay for anything app-related and claim the app is "awesome" or "great". All-in-all, not a companion, and definitely not a chatbot, just some poorly scripted program that tries and fails miserably to imitate conversation or anything at all. Luka Inc, you guys suck.
