  • Love what I can listen to but….

    It’s extremely frustrating that the app consistently took episodes - in Jack Grahams podcast bible in a year - I was listening to and every new day started the sequence back at the oldest to newest even though I had selected newest to oldest many times before. Then today when I went back to listen after missing a few days the podcast had completely gone and a new one started. Thirdly if you paused the podcast for a few minutes and then came back it would jump to a completely different podcast by another preacher. These things make it not a great app so hopefully these issues can be fixed. Love that this app does keep me on track and really enjoy the podcasts.

    It wouldn’t take my phone #. It kept telling me to use a proper phone number. I tried a dozen times to get it to send a code to my iPhone but it never would.

    I love the PRAY app, especially starting my day out in prayer followed by listening to Rev. Jack Graham’s “The Bible in a Year” podcast. I wish it would continue on the weekend, but that’s okay. My biggest disappointment with the app is when I’m sent back to ground zero if I miss a day. I once built up to 148 days, only to miss a day causing me to start at day 1 again. It recently happened again after 30 days but this time, I believe it was a glitch, I had not missed a day. Also, I should not have to listen to commercials for a paid app, it’s so disruptive and intrusive during my prayer/study time. I sometimes move the marker past them, but it shouldn’t be.

    So I’m asked to enter my phone number to start which already gave me the ick. As well as ads before even getting to the main app. Had to force quit the app to get around entering a phone number. Then I try some of the free content including the daily prayer stuff and it’s devotional podcasts with ads in the middle for things like uber. It looks very pretty but it’s like a parody of a prayer app. Deleted my account and the app after 15 minutes. Feels very scummy.
