Update: The developer responded and explained that App Store payments and refund decisions are handled by Apple, not by the developer. I appreciate them taking the time to explain this. I now understand that the charge that appeared after my subscription expired was apparently for an earlier subscription period, rather than a new renewal after cancellation. I am still very unhappy with this experience. I requested a refund from Apple and then appealed the denial, and both were denied. I contacted Apple Support and asked for the specific reason for the denial, but no one could tell me exactly why it was denied other than referring generally to Apple’s terms and conditions. I am updating my review because I don’t want to blame the app developer for something that appears to have been controlled by Apple. However, the subscription and billing experience was confusing and frustrating, and I think customers should be very careful to understand the subscription terms and cancellation dates before signing up. _________________ I was charged twice for My Scanner premium I requested refunds and my subscription shows that it expired September 20 my records show that it was charged again after the subscription was expired. Apple: “Thank you for your patience. As I have checked the details for you, I would like to inform you the request is denied.” Me: Can you please explain to me why it was denied? Apple: “I am sorry, I am afraid to tell you I am not able to check the exact reason for the denial of the refund request. I can only check the details that the refund request is denied.” A supervisor was contacted and she basically said that they could not refund my money because it went against their policy. but could not tell me which policy it went against. Meanwhile, they are still trying to take money out of my account, so I would advise anybody wanting this stupid app to think twice before punching the button. I wouldn’t even download it.

I don’t even use this app anymore I have messaged you guys millions of times to cancel my subscription and stop charging my card and you people continue to charge me not once but twice a week STOP CHARGING ME AND CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION
