One of the best learning platforms that helps you retain what you learned. I purchased the app to help me keep my mind active ( I’m in my 70’s). I’ve been able to put what I learned in to practice and improved my outlook on life.
  • Educational Inequality.

I want to emphasize the importance of educational equality. Free Daily Read is not truly free, it keeps asking for money. Education should be accessible to everyone, but $15 a month or $99 a year is too expensive for many. This app seems geared toward the wealthy. It is indeed disheartening when access to education is limited by financial barriers. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn and grow without being restricted by a high cost.
  • Non existent support, $100 charge

Sent at least four emails in a week asking for help unsubscribing before trial ended. (I had trouble downloading app and logging in). No response. $100 charge. Disputing it with my credit card company.
  • Nightmare to cancel

I cancelled this app 30 minutes after downloading it...very limited content..the real problem arose when they didn't acknowledge the cancellation, and it took countless rounds of emails with random nonsense suggestions from them to finally refund me. This was AFTER my cc company refunded me.

Just like the others, don’t want to pay :/
  • Pay to Play

I can’t even speak to the quality of the information or learning because I can’t find a single thing you don’t have to pay $100 to try. Extremely pay to play, quite frustrating too. I’d rather just read the books I already own instead of paying so much just to use the app.

Kudos to the app for a new spin on our modern brevity needs!
  • I tried it briefly

And didn’t like it much. I was hoping for bite sized bits of science, history, math theory etc. but its all self improvement literature summaries and I’m just not into that at this point of my life. Add some variety and I may try again. 🤷‍♀️
  • You can’t use it

I really liked it and and the way it worked until I realized you literally cannot do anything without paying for it
  • Good idea but ridiculous price tag

Summarizing essence of a book is a fine idea, and making it clickable to replace social media scrolling is even better. But guys, for 100 dollars a year I’m just going to google “-book-title- key points summary” and get the same content for free. I’d be ok with paying for a lifetime license, even at the steep price of 100, but annually it’s a crazy ask. I’d be curious to see how many subscribers there actually are for things like this, I don’t know a single person willing to shell out this much for a convenience.
