    I own a lifetime membership to this app because that’s how good it is. It continues to grow and get better every year. We are at a point where Tesla OEM app is trying to catch up. Android wearOS users can use their watch as a Key to the car. You can unlatch all doors not just the driver door. You can now pull real data wirelessly and diagnose your own car issues in conjunction with the Tesla service menu. If there was one thing I would change with the app is allowing the app to record that live data to the phone so I could play the recording back later in time. I also found out the Tessie fleet is 580k cars one of the largest public fleets to date. The battery health is 1-2% on or off from what Tesla battery health test will provide you. I did notice that rate of charge can change this number based off the fleet which I think should be thrown out or option to tune off. Other than that it’s amazing!

    $10 a month to view the data I should already own is absolutely insane. I don’t even understand how people are so happy to spend such an amount of money for this data.

  • Severe Charging Bug

    I’ve used Tessie to track battery health on M3P for almost 2 years. Recently Tesla replaced my battery and in the Tessie app I entered the date for when it was replaced. I didn’t notice until an hour or so later that the charging stopped on the car. For the next 2 hours I debugged why the car wasn’t charging. I reset my breaker, soft reset the car; no error codes were thrown and no obvious signs of the charger being damaged- verified it worked with my other ev. I then revoked all access from the Tessie app and charging started to work again. Im sure some forum post out there instructs owners to do this, but I didn’t find it and the fact that this app can cause such a severe bug is anxiety inducing. Cancelling sub due to this experience.

    Essentially you pay to give them data and it not provide you any truly useful info. Tesla makes ownership easy. If you want to pay $13 a month just to see your battery temperature then lose the ownership of your data, be my guest.
