I am celiac and this app is very hepful to look for restaurants that offer gluten free options in an area. I know I could always google that, but this app includes restaurant reviews from people who cannot eat gluten, and that's what helps me the most.

Excellent app but almost too much information. Since I am celiac, I mostly look at the dedicated gluten-free restaurants. I don’t trust user recommendations but I will check out some the Gluten Dude has vetted. Have found some wonderful restaurants this way. This app is a must-have for anyone with celiac disease, especially when traveling!

I stumbled across the Gluten Dude in a post about GF dining options as a Blue Hen (IYKYK). I followed his blog and watched as he brought this app to life. Unlike others, Gluten Dude and his team are committed to evaluating and honestly publishing the details of GF abilities at establishments. Their dedication to the GF community is amazing. This app is my go to for safe places to eat and drink. The functionality of the app, including the map option, makes eating out wherever you are easy. And everyone I share the app with loves it. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out on a world of dining possibilities vetted by a team that knows what GF means and tells it like it is.

This app is run by a fellow celiac who doesn’t take endorsements from corporations or products, like many others, which keeps reviews and information honest. Gluten Dude understands the daily struggles we have and created the app to help others with their #celiaclife. All restaurants listed are contacted and questioned about their gluten free policies and practices and procedures. Restaurants are categorized by their gf status- 100% gf, dude vetted, user suggested. Updates are frequent and new restaurants are often added and users alerted. I’m a Celiac mom with a Celiac teen. This app by far has been the best tool in our arsenal for navigating safe food options, both close to home and while traveling. The recent addition of airports, plus the regular new restaurants have especially helped my teen while traveling without us. Gluten Dude has a reputation in the Celiac community for telling it like it is, and not doing what’s “popular.” We appreciate his candor, and commitment to making this app the best it can be.

If you have a diagnosis of Celiacs Disease or cannot handle gluten in your system AND you enjoy meals at restaurants. The Gluten Dude app is a must. I refer to it when looking for GF menu options at home and while traveling.

This app allows the user to weed through feedback from people who are GF ‘for sport’. You decide the level of risk you are willing to take because the dude keeps it real. I appreciate that more restaurants are vetted all the time. Keep up the good work my GF Dude!
