it wants me to pay money to continue with lessons and i only did 7 lessons but want to keep going but won’t let me. if you are willing to pay for it, it is really good at teaching. i’m not deaf and i wanted it for fun but not willing to pay money for it.

So. Im not able to pay, and Im sure a lot of others can’t either. Gives you a few lessons then makes you pay a subscription fee. DO NOT GET IF YOU DONT WANT TO BUY. I recommend asl bloom as a free alternative. At least there you can do a few lessons a day.

I’ve been wanting to learn asl for a while and this is one of the best tools I’ve used. I’ve been losing my hearing a lot recently and have been told it could be nothing or it could get worse. I love the app, great work.
  • It’s ok

It’s an ok app but the words that they teach you I already know then to move on you have to subscribe to learn more. Yes I realize they have to pay to keep the app running however, learn ASL should be free so that it can make all people inclusive. There are places that offer other languages for free such as Spanish, French and German so that people in America can talk to others who don’t speak English but no free ASL classes to speak English with those who are deaf or hard of hearing and use ASL to communicate. Make it make sense.
