    UPDATE: they fixed the credits issue, then following an update in 12/24, all major features are now behind a PAY wall. Pretty ghetto move. This app used to truly be something. They minimized how many credits you can get a day from 5 to 1. They censor anything and everything now. It’s a shame, so many time/ Money/credits wasted. I know it seems like a random AI app, but it had potential over a year ago. Oh well.

  • New Composition Lacks Former Options

    Every feature has been taken away to tune an image or keep it closer or further from a starting image. It has gone from a good editor to an absolutely abysmal editor. Please bring back the old options for composition. Terrible update. Also, when choosing to thumbs down an image, any text flickers and the field cannot be written in. So you can’t even give accurate feedback, for instance, that the app will white-wash African American faces even with diverse training. Starryai seems to make no effort to fix this.

  • Prompts are appropriate but it generates images that goes against its own terms and conditions

    Tried to make a cyberpunk man with all black and neon green, 2 out of the 4 images were marked inappropriate. What a waste.

    This AI can only draw one boob size. Women come in all shapes and sizes but when you suggest something different it either won’t do it or will blur it out. Simply want a fantasy elf character that isn’t a freakin D cup and this can’t do that. I see no reason to buy lumens when it can’t create anything but boob monsters. Updating with time, lowering rating: The safety filters are very annoying. You can’t be accurate with wordage with certain things and have to tiptoe around it. Very clear the AI can do it but it’s castrated by struck filters. Neko AI is much better in this area. No filters but you just can’t publish if it’s risky.

  • Not enough Lumens!!

    I really love this app but if you want to earn enough Lumens after the first day of earning around 20 Lumens in order to make more than 1-5 art pieces a day then you're fresh outta luck unless you start competing in contests with the pros which then you could earn up to 500 Lumens.

  • They shut you out if you create often

    I got a message saying we like that you’re using this app, BUT we are limiting your requests because you’re asking for too much. ***I’m paying for a subscription*** Or was rather. I immediately cancelled when I got that message. I can’t even access the account. Paying for a subscription for what reason? They’re going to scold me because I’m using their service too much? I’ll find another.

  • Use to be good, now unusable

    Use to be a fun app, whether you used the paid or free version. Something recently changed though and now almost everything is a violation of their terms of service, despite the prompt not requesting anything that should provide that result. In addition, you won’t know you’ve violated their ToS until after you’ve waited for your artwork and just get a blank canvas.

  • Great but some weird bugs

    Overall the app is superb. I’m enjoying the overall creation process and looking forward to learning more about AI art. I’ve run into a couple of bugs that are strange and not in a good way. 1) while the art is generating a new creation, music starts to play. It’s usually after I’ve been using the app for a while, maybe 30 minutes or more. If I minimize the app, the music stops. If I reopen it, the music resumes. If I completely close the app, no music plays. I can reopen the app and I’ll be music free for 30 minutes or more. 2) At the completion of the generation, the app asks for a thumbs up or down. If I select a thumbs down, it asks for reasons. The last field is an open text field that allows for a short comment. I can’t type in the field without having the field flashing and the characters being backspaced over and over again.

    This App is fun enough that I purchased "pro" thinking it that "unlimited generations" meant an unlimited version of the free service, wrong. What you get is unlimited "slow generations". This basically means that once they have your money you will be put on the lowest priority on the server. It has been taking 15minutes to 60min for a single generation to finish. Absolutely do not buy pro for any reason. These people are deplorable techie con artists.
