Absurd pricing model—it’s literally cheaper to buy a physical remote.

I am absolutely appalled by the greed displayed in this app. It is unacceptable that users cannot even perform the basic function of connecting to the television without hitting a paywall immediately. I refuse to engage with apps that hold basic functionality hostage like this.
The developers clearly weren't thinking about the consumer reality here. Why would anyone agree to a monthly, quarterly, or yearly subscription for a digital remote? Let’s look at the math:
• This App: Recurring payments forever.
• Physical Remote: A one-time purchase of $10–$15 at Walmart or Amazon.
The value proposition here is non-existent. You might offer a decent service once paid, but out of principle, I am deleting this immediately. Save your money and just buy a universal remote.
