I have no objection seeing and listening to ads to support iHeartRadio. But when I have to listen to an ad, to switch from one station that is incessantly playing ads to another station that is incessantly playing ads, I think it’s a bit ridiculous. My other complaint about iHeart is that it’s uneven. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, and it’s not about the reception. It just gets stuck, and it would seem to me that there should be a setting that when you first open it up, or if it’s already open and it is disconnected from a source, and then you plug it back into a source, that it should just start back up Ann, why don’t you offer some high resolution music? The quality on iHeart is like listening to somebody on a telephone when it comes to music. Just put a high res on there that does 9624, maybe even 192 24, and I think if you marketed it to the right people, you’d have a pretty big audience for it as it is. I never listen to the music because it sounds terrible

I started using this app because Spotify stopped offering the podcast I listen to. For starters, the Home Screen is a cluttered mess and it takes a minute to get situated every time I open the app. I like to download a dozen or so episodes at a time so that I can listen offline. But for some reason, when I am offline the episodes don’t load because there is no connection. The whole point of downloading them is that they are on my phone and available whenever. Clearly nothing is actually downloaded. Play back has issues as well. The app RARELY saves the mark of my last listen, offline/online/wifi/Cell. I open the app and it starts playing from some random place and then I have to skip ahead until I get to where I actually am. The bar on the player that tracks the current time is hard to actually grab and drag to skip ahead quickly. When the episode I’m listening to is done, the app doesn’t go to the next downloaded episode in my list. Instead it starts playing the next episode in the podcast’s episode list, whether it has been downloaded or not. Maybe these issues go away if you use the paid version, but my user experience is so poor that why would I waste money on this.
