App keeps kicking me off and I have to delete and reinstall to use the app. I’ve tried all the fixes on the cnn site to no avail and the cnn AI customer service says it doesn’t recognize my problem. I’m paying my dues so what’s the problem?

Having to be subjected to ads for a premium service I pay for is bad enough, but at least get the video player up to modern standards. Swipe down to see the time on your iPhone while something is playing? Video stops and returns you to the beginning of the program and you’re subjected to more ads. Yes, you can use the scrub bar to jump to other sections of the program, but you’re still re-subjected to like 6 ads before it’ll start. Bottom line, if you stop watching a video before it’s done, whether due to the app’s bugginess (per the example above) or because you simply took a break, it needs to pick back up where you left off and not force you to rewatch sections of ads you’ve already been through. Lastly, the search function for certain shows, such as Fareed Zakari GPS needs improvement.

I tried to give cnn a try but every time I click on something it wants me to add a plan and pay for it. To cnn’s higher ups…. Fire whose decision this was. Get revenue from ads or something or give the option pay or see ads. Let me make it clear …. MOST PEOPLE WILL NEVER PAY TO READ BREAKING NEWS. In this day and age we can find the news anywhere. I tried to use your app to read news and I won’t do it anymore. No wonder your ratings are horrible.

I’m get it, the only thing that could save CNN after repeated scandals, editorial changes and massive losses was to pander to extremist and the young uneducated crowds with garbage that has no journalistic standards or fact checking and keeping the appearance of traditional news outlet. It’s the only way to keep relevant and compete on the TikTok rage bait revenue while making people think they are getting educated and helping some social justice causes. A classic case of “this is free -because you are the product”. Trash on steroids

Why am I paying for a subscription if I have to watch 30 second ads before it plays headline news. This feels designed to fail. CNN+ was ad free. Not paying to watch ads, false advertising. No, I don’t want to use this app, website is way Wayne easier to avoid tracking.

It's difficult to navigate the app, and I have to sign in to the Apple TV app almost every time I open it.

The app is great for following programs from CNN, but it’s missing some great programs from CNN International. I wish it included those, esp “Quest Means Business.”

The Apple TV version of the CNN is terrible. Possibly the worst app I have ever used. It is so glitchy and laggy that it is almost unusable. Very difficult to access shows you want to watch.
