I downloaded this and signed up for the trial. I took it out about two hours later to test how it would work at the driving range. When I open the app, it said I was no longer allowed to access the features. When I exited out of that pop-up window, it let me record a video. then later in the day when I check my email, I was told I successfully signed up and then I also had a separate email from Apple saying I had paid full amount. I signed up for a trial then the app forced a payment for the entire year immediately after that. I don’t understand why the company won’t even Respond.

I’ve been very happy with the V1 Golf app. I often refer to my lessons on it. Customer support has been very good too. I would highly recommend using them.

Two things that would make this a must use app for me: apple/android watch integration for starting/stopping video or a way to just record me hitting and use AI to tell when I’m actually swinging and auto split the videos. Oh one more would be syncing of comparison videos (being able to play both yours and a pros video simultaneously after manual syncing of position, or even with a transparent overlay). The need to go back and click stop/start all the time just makes the experience slow and clunky. This doesn’t feel like a “true” native app (more like react native or similar, just a browser style shell for video panes) so it will probably take a full rewrite to build those types of features, but one can hope.

Been using V1 Golf app for a few years and it is an outstanding tool for golfers (and teachers) to deconstruct and analyze the golf swing. They regularly update the App with new features and their support team is very helpful whenever you have a question or an issue. Highly recommended.

Had a minor hiccup getting videos captured on my iPhone transferring to my iPad. Contacted support and JT quickly replied and explained how to fix my issue. Don’t hesitate to call them as they are GOOD at supporting their product! 😀👍

I purchased the app premium package because it said it would connect you with a personal coach for swing analysis and lessons. That led me to believe that the swing analysis from a coach was included in the package. it is not included!!! you can connect to the coach, but you only get analysis if you pay the coach additionally!!!! When I pointed out the information was misleading to the service department and requested a refund, I got no apology. I got no explanation. I just got a statement. All sales are final. Do not pay for the premium package. It’s not worth it!!!!

I’m new to V1. So, I can’t speak to the product yet but I’m certainly a believer in the customer service! Don answered all my questions and helped me with a couple extra things with almost no wait time. Can’t wait to see if the app is as good as the customer service!
