    I use Voxer regularly. It’s wonderful when I want to send audio messages with people who might not use an iPhone as well as maintain some anonymity for work conversations. I sent an email to Voxer support and they quickly resolved my issue to help me gain access to my account again. Highly recommend!

    It’s so easy to mess up an audio message - but if you want to start an audio message again you have to pay $3.99 for a month of the full price app. Lame sauce!!

    This app is great. I like it better than Marco Polo - no ads and no video obligations. Easy to use. The only thing I wish i could do was navigate away from the app when I talk as I can when I am listening.

    I downloaded this for work about a week ago and it’s been one issue after another since. There are “new” messages I can’t clear. There are conversations “started” with random coworkers that none of us have actually started or send anything on. They’re just there in my list of conversations. There have been daily emails I can’t seem to unsubscribe from full of “tips” that are really just glorified ads for the paid version. And then this morning I found that one of my friends had been added to my list of contacts on the app despite the fact that I specifically did NOT give them permission to access my phone contacts. This is not a coworker, it is a friend. I don’t care if they have also Voxer, the app should not know I know them at all, let alone have automatically added them to my contact list on the app. This is a completely unacceptable breach of my personal privacy. I will be speaking with my boss and coworkers about finding an alternative communication for work, because I am not comfortable with continuing to use an app that invades my privacy. I am someone who normally vets what I download and I already thought it seemed sketchy. This is the last straw after a week full of minor annoyances.

    I love this app. I really do and have brought in my whole ecosystem of friends onto it. But product management will not listen, acknowledge, or reply to the apps support/feedback mechanism. So posting here for now. Then on twitter/X following. Then on LI posts. Then via buffer.com
  • Love this app but glitchy :/

    I love this app but unfortunately it’s soooo glitchy. It seems like once every couple weeks I have to uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. This time, it won’t let me record voice messages at all. I’ve done all the trouble shooting tips, did a hard reset on my phone (twice), uninstalled and reinstalled the app (and made sure the mic was enabled), and checked my internet. No luck. Unfortunately I have a premium account and use it for business, so it’s extremely unfortunate when it doesn’t work, as I can’t communicate effectively!
