The app doesn’t synch up with the progress when logged in via a browser. The grammar review seems to cover lower level material than what I’ve been covering. I’m shown pronouns to review instead of the imperfect preterite.

The lessons are short and concise and I like the testing process after each level.

I've been using Busuu on and off for a couple years, but recently committed to using it nearly every day for the past few months to learn Japanese. Busuu is very user friendly, the lessons are fun and go beyond teaching just the language, and overall a very well set up platform for its purpose that I'd recommend to anyone who's interested in learning a new language! The only reason for the 4/5 stars is because I would love to see the addition of a flashcard feature within the app. (Since it doesn't have integrated flashcards, I highly recommend "Mochi" app to those who are looking for one!)

It’s way better than Duolingo and it actually sticks

I do really like this app, specifically because it gives a lot of cultural information to make sure that you feel comfortable speaking with native speakers. The only negative I can think of is that the romanization of languages that use different alphabets (like Korean, Mandarin, etc.) is not something you can turn off (as far as I know), and I wish there was an option to do that for people who don’t want the romanizations. Otherwise, great app!
