The content is fine but the phone app no longer scrolls properly. I am no longer able to finish reading any articles. The update did not solve the problem.

I love the Atlantic and the app. Even though I am a subscriber I understand that outlets like this need to use ads for revenue. But they are not doing a good job balancing anymore. Today I had two copies of the same video ad playing at the same time within one phone window. I cannot even read the article when the presentation is that sloppy. So I went back to what I used to do. Read the Atlantic in a web browser with my ad blocker on. Find a better balance for in app ads

Wish The Atlantic coders would fix the app. The past few weeks it's been a mess - flickering, scrolling uncontrollably, having to verify my humanity every article I read, etc. It has been a great app, but needs attention right now!

Great journalism

Balancing the public need to know, and the government’s current obsession with secrecy and outright deception & unwarranted censorship, has severely winnowed the reliable sources of reporting on the US Government. The Atlantic, the NY Times, The Guardian, are among the few outlets that have stood up to the Trump lies, and threats. The Washington Post was an early casualty, due to the avarice of Jeff Bezos. Being wealthy doesn’t enhance the character of a person, it likely amplifies the impacts of character flaws. The Atlantic continues to be a very good source for information about the USA, and world politics. We need more institutions to help make America great again. (Really). Hard to believe how many people fell for “The Apprentice” BS. Carnival barkers have been around for a very long time. Why are our schools failing us?

This my favorite magazine. The articles show alot of real serious research work by the authors. The editors must be doing an awesome amount of work, as well.

I liked some of the journalism but ultimately had to cancel my subscription as this news source seems to want to be complicit with genocide.
