    I really appreciate Headspace for introducing me to the art of meditation and providing me with exercises that I can use on a day-to-day basis that sometimes don’t even necessarily require sitting down For a full meditation, but they can still help me quell some of the large amount of chatter that’s in my brain. That said, every time I actually do sit down to do a headspace exercise, I’m constantly reminded of why I appreciate them in the first place, just taking a moment to give my brain a chance to be in touch with the rest of the body, and remind myself that I am one whole person and that my mind deserves peace and tranquility.

    I’ve been a headspace subscriber since… I think 2014.. the app has changed a lot since then. To be completely honest, I kind of miss the simplicity of the app back then. I liked the badges & history graphics. Things were slightly easier to find then too, but there’s a lot more content now. I still just find myself wanting to do the original meditations & course packs though. The sleep section is a fantastic addition (lol I say that like it’s new, it’s not 😆). Have not found a better option out there. The sleepcasts have a randomization feature where after the wind down, it randomizes the audio segments (excellent for my distractable brain), and you can adjust the relative volume of the ambient sounds vs the speaker’s voice. 💯 If you use the courses (start with the basics packs, I still return to them often), it provides a really helpful structure (and infrequent decision making 🙌) to build a meditation practice, and ultimately start noticing the effects of increased mindfulness in your day to day life. ✨
  • Pain Management pack is a joke

    Don’t pretend to know anything about pain management when the guide starts by saying the it doesn’t matter whether your pain is acute or chronic. That’s not true at all! Both require individualized care, including meditation exercises.

    They will renew your annual subscription with no notice and it’s impossible to actually talk to a person to resolve it. Awful. Do not recommend.

    If I could give less than 1 star I would! Has been 5 days that I have been writing to the customer service and NO RESPONSE! I have been charged unapproved amount from my bank account and I need a refund ASAP! No one responding! UNACCEPTABLE!

    I am updating my review because I contacted their support team, and although it took 10 days for them to respond, they did address my inquiry and provided help. Considering it’s such a widely used app, I still believe their customer service could be faster. That said, I appreciate their effort. Thank you for taking care of the issue!
