  • Can’t use the arrow to navigate anywhere in Bible

    The app will not work for me and I have made sure my iOS is up to date. The tiny pull down arrow will not do anything—there’s no was to select a book and chapter so I can’t read anything in the Bible. You can’t even type in a reference in the search field because it won’t find any results to go to. I have a subscription to BibleGateway online. Can’t use it in the app. Update: deleting the app and reinstalling then logging in again makes the search and the pull down menu work again. I still wish the subscription features in the online platform were available in the mobile app, like being able to see the Hebrew of any verse.

    I am a premium subscriber with an iPhone 14. My operating system is always up to date. About once a month I have to delete and reinstall the app because I get a white screen when I open the app. Nothing else seems to remedy the issue. This has been an issue for at least a year.

    I installed, immediately got hit with a loud auto playing ad before I could read a single line of scripture, and I immediately uninstalled. This should be the procedure all people take with any app that has ads implemented in obnoxious ways.

    I love everything about this app except the 90 days reading plan is dysfunctional. Every time I try to use it or begin the plan it only gives me a pop with “There is no reading selection for this day” I was really excited to start it this year but unfortunately it didn’t work out for me.

    I have been using Bible gateway for about 10 years. I used the free version for many years, but I bought the paid version for the extremely well supplemented reference books. At $4 a month, it is like a free theological education. Plus no advertisements. This is a great resource!

    Once it gets past the biblegateway initial screen, I just get the pause of oblivion circling.

    I'm a Plus subscriber, because I use their resources on my laptop when doing sermon prep. It's better than Logos or anything else I've found. Was hoping their app would be the same as the website, but it isn't. Super buggy!

    It used to be so easy to use and so user-friendly now they’ve sold out everything is pop-ups and ads and errors deleting this app
