    I dont usually write reviews but for this i had to. I have this app on my main page and the new logo looks like its a joke, honestly I can’t believe how you guys looked at it and though to run with it. Old one looked so much better and it fit in with everything else, new one is an eye sore. Please rethink this decision because i dont think im the only one that dislikes it so much.

    I have Joist Pro and was trouble uploading my logo I sent them an email late at night and Joist replied first thing in the AM and fixed it! Great Prompt response! Thank you Joist!

    The software itself is great but the new icon makes the app look like a cheap app. I liked the previous one alot. I use to have it on my home screen but had to move it to a folder from the looks of it.
  • Great App with better than average customization

    Overall a great app for a small construction business. Item lines allow for better than average customization, and invoicing also has all the must-have basics covered. I run the pro version, I’m sure the elite adds even more benefits. So far, so good. Only thing I would love to see is a dark mode for the mobile apps (I use an iPad on site and in the truck)

    This is my favorite app for bidding and invoicing! The two reasons I gave it less than 5 stars are as follows: 1. Every time you navigate to a different app during estimate editing mode (example: to copy and paste from your notes), it closes the edit and doesn’t save any changes. The app refreshes each time you close a bid, etc. Makes for a lot of wasted time while it reloads ten times more frequently than needed. I have brought this up to the Joist team and they said they would look into it, but never fixed it. 2. The app keeps sending annoying messages to try to get me to sign up for PayPal payments, and no matter how often I decline, they keep throwing it in front of me each time I open the app. Like please stop wasting our time. We are paying for the subscription, and you’re interrupting our busy day. If we could clear up those two issues, I would change my rating to 5 stars, and recommend this app strongly! It still remains the best one out there, but I always feel disrespected by the constant bugging to set up payments (PayPal isn’t trustworthy) and always having to re-edit any time I forget to save changes before I go grab a copy to paste from another app. You should not charge money unless you give satisfaction. Looking forward to improvements and honesty on their end. Joist team, please read this and fix it! It used to be different. I know it is possible! Thank you!

    Exporting your items has been broken for months now with no timeline on a fix and now QuickBooks sync isn’t working. Not sure what’s going on at joist but I’m ready to move on

    Used to be a great app for easy estimating. Now they charge a lot of money to use the app. Not only that, but they constantly let you know that you could spend even more money for more features. “But check out these great features!” They’re all so complicated and unintuitive, I don’t see myself paying for another year. If you’re looking for a solid app to provide estimates from, you should look somewhere else. I’ve used Joist since I started my business 5 years ago and I’m sad to say they’ve sold out and jumped the shark. Not worth the $140(!)/year.

    I’ve read the responses to people’s reviews and the return replies say that you can use the invoice and estimate for free without pro INDEFINITELY. Now you can only use them 5 times a month. This is misleading. You can’t say one thing and do the other.
