If you are a visual learner…this is for you! I originally tried TDC but realized I am not an auditory learner…so I found this program and purchased Dawn Apgar book that they cite on each question! Thank you pocket prep! Easy and straight to the point! I was able to see patterns in questions easily from doing 1000 of them!

Questions in weakest subject an practice test were most like exam. I did this daily and passed boards though I do not think this fully prepared me. I also did Therapist Development Center. I would recommend these two and that’s it. There’s no need to do much else. Most of the questions seem speculative and really just using your gut and knowing laws, Subtleties that are so off the chart, and when to refer out. If you don’t have agency experience, it may be worth talking with someone who does to get some assistance on that

I feel many questions and answers are poorly written and do not reflect actual material on the exam. For example: Which of the following therapeutic approaches focuses on the elimination of maladaptive behavior by associating the behavior to an aversion stimulus? Solution-focused Cognitive-behavioral Aversion Action Correct answer: Aversion…. It literally says it in the question Practitioners use a variety of assessment methods to assess children. Which of the following is an example of a behavioral observation assessment? Behavioral Assertiveness Test for Children Playground Observation of Behavior Child Behavior Checklist Walker Problem Behavior Identification Correct answer: Playground Observation of Behavior… once again, IN THE QUESTION You run a group for recently divorced individuals. During the first meeting, the members introduce themselves to everyone else and then turn to you for directions. The MOST appropriate response from you is to: Suggest that everyone say something about why they are attending the group Say, "It seems like you are waiting for me." Say nothing and wait for someone in the group to break the silence Ask, "So, what do you think we should talk about today?" I don’t even need to put the correct answer for this, it’s a very poor question with very poor options. The ASWB would never have questions like this. I want my money back lol

I passed yesterday, (2/25/25). I basically just used this app and flash cards to help me pass. I passed yesterday with 19 points to spare. Highly recommend doing all of the practice exams. Don’t fret if you score low just review the reasons why you missed the questions in the first place.

I like doing the quizzes because they give an explanation of the correct answers

This app really helped me understand what the exam for the LCSW was looking for in answers. Anytime I got one wrong, I would read the explanation and found it very insightful. I used the app a few times per week for the last 3 months and passed the exam!

I used this app for 15-30 mins for most days over 4 months and it really helped to boost my understanding of the material. I only used this app and read the book that this app bases its questions on. I passed on my first try of the test!
