  • The Best Sports Section

The Boston Globe has the best Sports Department in the country. Factual, opinionated, and smart. Most writers are informed and report what fans are interested in. Alex Spier, Dupont, Chad Finn, are an enjoyable read and the best in the department.

I’ve read this paper for over 55 years. I have traveled all over the US for years and have been fortunate enough to have read a few sports pages in many different cities. The Globe by far is a definite five star in my mind. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I’ve been reading the globe for all of my remembered years. So, at 65 and with my familiar print version likely coming to an end, i am so, so happy to have the digital version on my iPad. Please never stop with a print version available for a tablet or phone. Also, please do not chintz on the first class reporting you are known for for 150 years

  • Quirky App

The Boston Globe digital subscription frequently fails to load the e-paper. Checking Restore Purchases doesn’t do anything and calling the Boston Globe directly is pointless, as the automated ‘assistant’ hangs up without allowing a live operator.

  • Fix this feature

Every time I open an article from a link, instead of taking me into the app, it makes that I’m paying for, it requires me to sign instead of taking me directly to the article inside the app that I’m paying for.

  • Woke nonsense

Great sportswriters as always. However the rest of the paper is littered with opinionated and slanted writing with nonsense op-eds and editorials. I would cancel in a heartbeat without the local sports coverage.

Been reading Globe Sports since I was eight, says this almost octogenarian. Still love Shaughnessy & Co.

I love that you can listen to most of the articles. Now I can do a run and listen to the Globe! Yay. Much better than the NYTimes!
