App is trash. For the amount we have to spend on codex to use this plus the subscription you think they would be able to get basic war gear correct.
There are better out there with less bugs from smaller teams not sure why GW cannot get it right.

The app is a great way to read rules and make lists but being restricted to one list without subscription and being unable to see rules without a codex sucks. They should make it so you’re able to see all rules with the subscription and maybe allow each codex code make it so you can make one additional list. I think that would make the money spent more worth it.

Love this app I literally use it everyday but with this new update I can’t get a hold of any of my lists that have the following detachment of Grizzled Company.

It would be a solid app if not for the ridiculous pay wall to access the datasheets for your army. Game already costs an arm and a leg for the miniatures, but on top of that they STILL want you to buy the physical codexes just to get a code to see your army rules and datasheets FOR EVERY ARMY YOU PLAY. So basically you are buying a book with recycled artwork, a lot of recycled lore, and rules and datasheets that might not survive the next balance dataslate. And these codexes aren’t cheap either. They are basically worthless.
For army builder apps with FREE datasheets and rules try New Recruit and List Forge.

With the changes coming to the app and GW overall I cannot recommend this app.
YOU MUST BUY CODEXS AND ITEMS OUTSIDE THE APP TO USE THIS.
Subscription does nothing for the average player. Seek other apps and websites to play 40K.
App is janky mess that paywalls all of the content. You can no longer view data sheets without buying them.
Do not support this app.
Battle Forge Crashes
