    The top half of the message screen is taken up by nonsense. The ‘Get a group together’ section and the ‘new friends’ section (which I cannot access). So the message list can only be shown on about half of the screen. I wish I could dismiss these!!

    The app is okay to meet people if you only want to meet friends in your similar gender. Like if your non-binary, bff will show you other non-binary people. only. It was cool at first but I also want friends who are men, women, and non-queer too. I tested it out when I changed my gender to man and it showed me people I’ve never even seen before. It can be extremely limiting to finding friends when you’ve run out of people in your area who shares ur gender. And as a nonbinary person, it can very limiting if there isn’t a lot of nonbinary/openly nonbinary people in your area. I want to be friends with people of all types of genders but bumble bff just won’t allow that and it’s unfortunate when bumble bff is one of the better apps I’ve used to try to make friends locally. It’s really a shame and I would love the app so much more if it just changed that one little thing. Edit: I just don’t see the benefit of keeping the app cuz I haven’t seen any new profiles in months cuz I ran out of non binary folks in my area.

    Why can’t I (male) not see profiles of the opposite sex (females) to be friends with? I don’t mind seeing male profiles, but I should also be able to see female profiles as well. Are we saying males and females can’t be friends??

    I’m in Ghana right now and I’ve registered bumble but when I try to login with my bumble account you asks me to add a phone number, well I added but it seems things won’t go through as it is supposed to. So come on,fix it.

    I mean yeah, I get it that there are guys on here too because it’s a friend app, it’s not supposed to matter, but it’s ONLY guys I get. You can be friends with girls too you know

    If this app is not intended for dating why are we only given the option of finding same sex friends. I understand today’s hook-up culture and infidelity however, if this app is created for friends then I feel like the user should have the OPTION to CHOOSE between whether or not they’re open to receiving alternate sex options then their own. All the Ill -intended behavior shouldn’t affect the choices of those who want to use the app for its purpose. In the dating app you have the option to meet with everyone so why not for BFF? • maybe make the bumble bff different than the bumble dating app picture by a landslide so people will visually understand. • If people are still getting on there to hook up then maybe there should be blockage on words in bios or a report account button for bad intentions or something bc it’s not other “good users” fault we trying to make friends in this forever exhausting age. The events tab is also not good tbh. No way to filter through the long list of activities that are in your area with groups that aren’t even active. The events tab should have: • options for filtering based on type of activity, mileage, common interests or hashtags maybe • if the chat was recently active or even better the dates of when they were started and last active • removing passed dated events that are inactive • calendar with highlighted dates of events happening that day and the event groups they can join to get more details about the [events] that day I could go on and on about what it’s lacking but I digress.

    Idk if I was shadow banned, or if Bumble intentionally doesn’t show your profile to people when you stop paying, or if bumble is just full of inactive accounts / bots. In several months of use I only ever got one match that was a real woman. When I tried premium with filters (basics, same religion, no smoking, no kids) I exhausted a 120 mile radius in a metroplex of 8 million in two or three days. Look, I’m not delusional to think I’m the hottest guy out there, I’m fairly average, but I take care of myself and my appearances. I also know the “beauty range” I successfully date in. To get so little interaction after so much time makes zero sense to me. Something is going on, and while American women are increasingly having unrealistic dating expectations, I cannot blame how little interaction I got on women. There is something fishy going on with this app. Don’t waste your time or money on it, you won’t find any real women.
