If you don’t pay for the app they will not let you message anyone or receive any message from other travelers, they just want your money pretty much

Post Purchase of subscriptions they ban you for nothing. Without information on why account is suspended or banned.

They're progressively starting to charge for everything. Now you can't even message people in advance to make plans without a fee. They've also done nothing to stop the predatory behavior female users have to deal with

Met one of my best friends 2 years ago on this app. We now work for a foundation and travel the world documenting the foundations efforts in providing aid to communities around the world. Thanks trip bff! Of recent the changes to the interface have really limited the ability to connect with others however. For instance the alterations to the group plans portion of the app I can no longer join a “Central America” group chat because if the person who made it did so in Panama and I’m now in Nicaragua even though the group is made for all of Central America it won’t let me join. It’s a lot tougher to get connected to people unless they’re actively Right where you are, but where I found this app worked best was reaching out to others in advance we’d get acquainted and make plans to meet when we eventually traveled to the destination a couple days weeks or months later. Also yall are missing Eswatini on the country counter and have East timor/timor leste twice haha

I have used this app since it came out and they were doing little tweaks to make it better and better and it has become a go to when I travel. I have tried all kinds of travel apps out of curiosity. But this one is by far the best platform with the kindest developers. Would highly recommend.👍

Garbage The system deleted my group with out any notification and explanation

hey I highly recommend to not get the app, I’ve vote catfished many times while other apps have a face verification this one lets anyone join and it’s dangerous

I was looking forward to making new friends in Europe. I downloaded this app to create new connections as I recently came across. I found my account was suspended for no reason it said it would process for 24 hours to decide if my account should maintain suspended it’s been three days since that happened.. I emailed their support team with no answer as if I have been ghosted really disappointed
