  • Great except for random notifications

    The app sends you notifications daily when nothing has happened, seemingly just to remind you that it is there. There is no way to opt out of these without turning off notifications entirely. It’s a great app otherwise, I would absolutely recommend it, and it will be an easy 5 stars if they ever fix that, but a communication app sending random notifications kind of defeats the purpose

    My gf and I downloaded this app a few months ago and enjoyed it very much as a long distance couple. We paid 7.99/month for full access. Now why is it holding our history hostage asking for more money under the PLUS option?? Hate that. Will delete soon.

    I loved this app until recently. I have a 783 day streak and have paid for 2 years of premium so far. The customer service leaves much to be desired. There should be a way to auto restore content when re-pairing. Couples argue and makes mistakes in the heat of the moment, especially those with mental health struggles. It also does not tell you if your partner paid for the premium so they can double dip and ask you to pay too, which is very predatory. The updates are not often enough, and the content gets EXTREMELY repetitive.

    I’ve had both pro plan and not; I’ve enjoyed this at first but overtime it runs dry of activities and quizzes (I get it, it can be difficult always having new quizzes, but I wish you could retake the quizzes like a year later to see if it’s still the same!). Currently I’m not on the pro plan, and it’s very frustrating that I have to be subscribed to look at previous notes as well as my own pictures. I may leave more due to my partner no longer interacting with the app, but it feeling dry of things to do aside from slowly building up points for furniture adds another reason.

    Even in the non-paid version, it’s wonderful for you and your partner, it’s so helpful with communication and just a very cute little app! HOWEVER! I really do wish there was an option to “create your own mood”. There’s sick, but there’s no “hurting” there’s “sad” but no “depressed”. Just another little toggle where you can pick the emoji out of a list of them maybe, and then you can type out your own mood!

    We love the app, ty! We got the paid version and it’s worth it. however I wish there were more emotions and that the map was clickable. It would be so cool if we could log the places we’ve traveled to together, and maybe the places we want to travel to next.
