  • Good, lots of ads though

I love it, I save all my recipes there. However, recently I’ve been getting SO many adds like almost one 2 minute add every time I save a recipe. This wasn’t always the case though I used to get very few ads but then it just snowballed into more and more

At first it works and seems like the perfect app to start saving recipes but every time I upload a video that has the recipes in it it will say it didn’t get the recipe because there wasn’t “enough detail” honestly not worth it and definitely not worth spending money on it
  • Doesn’t work

This app does not work when trying to import recipes from websites. And it logs you out constantly. I was supposed to get a reminder before my trial ended and I didn’t, and it’s outrageously expensive for a poorly coded app that isn’t compatible with recipe blogs. Ridiculous, stay away
  • Great App…in concept

Osta’s great at what they advertise: take a recipe from social media and create and save the recipe. I’ve used it myself for many recipes and the only times it hasn’t worked is when the social media account does not provide adequate details for Osta to transcribe which I can’t and don’t hold against the app. However, in order to scan transcribe a cookbook and “unlock” the nutrition facts about the recipes, you have to pay for, and say it with me now, a premium subscription. That alone disqualifies a recipe book app from being 5 stars, no matter how well organized, quick, or easy the process may be. At its core, Osta is supposed to be a quality of life app. Something that makes a tedious task such as transcribing a recipe to save for later instantaneous. The concept of applying a subscription to that is frankly a bit insulting, Osta’s just less egregious than its competitors. Furthermore, the introduction of ads in order to save recipes has made me lose an immense amount of respect for and faith in Osta. It’s becoming a fact of life that ads are being incorporated into every aspect of our lives so much so that it’s a relief whenever I come across something that refrains from forcing ads on its user. Like Osta used to be. Again, I’m unbelievably disappointed in an app that should and does work very well yet twice now has made massive moves towards profit over user satisfaction.

This app is great for cooking, but it’s almost become unusable because I have to watch a minute worth of ads every time I save a recipe

I have never left a review on any apps, but this app is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend it.

10 out of 10 would never use the trash!!! If I could give it zero stars, I would give it zero stars! Don’t create a referral program to in your users to try to wrangle your friends into using it. When the referrals don’t work! You can’t use the referral codes!! Your AI assistant to help solve problems makes the customers feel like they’re an idiot which I’m not!!
  • Update it one more time!

This company has been charging me $3.99 for the past 3 months without my knowledge when I don’t even have an account with them. And good luck trying to get anyone to help you from their team. Sadly had to dispute it with my credit card company so they would stop charging me every month
