  • Unusable

Won't even let me have a look without a subscription trial, isn't formated properly for accessibility features on more basic sized devices. Ignores input to tell you about stuff you don't care about then asks if you'd recommend it before you even get to see anything. Another greenwashing cash grab of an app.

  • Disappointed- You have to pay to use

Granted there’s a free trial, but I don’t need another subscription so immediately deleted it instead. You’ve got to figure out a way to make it free or I am not interested.

I first got this app because I saw an ad on instagram for it, and I’ve been looking for a way to be a little healthier in my day to day life. It’s super easy to use, and there are so many more farms around than I thought there would be!! I love the categories for the different types of products you’re looking for, and that it shows the distance. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a little better filters for the farms? Some of them say free but have websites where you have to pay extra on top of the subscription to the app to even have access to the farm. Of course, there are other farms and options!! Just make sure to double check! Overall amazing app!!

As a college student at UTK who recently moved from Southern California, finding fresh, locally sourced food has been a challenge. Localize makes it so much easier to discover local farms and farmers markets that I otherwise wouldn’t have known about! The app is super easy to navigate, and I love being able to see what’s available near me. It’s refreshing to see a company that genuinely cares about its users and supporting local farmers. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

I love supporting local farmers!! This app was so interesting to me. However, I don’t wanna pay $35 to $70 a year for this. This could be because I have robust knowledge of different local farmers already, and I’m not sure how much gain there is from using this app. However, the app seems well done. If you are just getting into supporting local, this would be a fantastic starting place.
