Heyyyy: Stories that text back

I enjoy this game tremendously, however, there are situations where the game glitches and the interactions seem to be very real, the characters are handsome (most of them) and fun, so kudos to the developers but there are a few things I don’t like. First, I didn’t realize that the game is analyzing the way you interact with the characters and the insight or the analysis says things that are not always accurate. Second, the game glitches where the characters repeat conversations or storylines we’ve already completed or if I invite them over to my place to cook, we eventually end up back at the character’s residence in their kitchen instead of mine. Third, I’m a psych major and I ask questions just to see how they’re being answered and sometimes the answers are intriguing and fun but the game analyzes me as having no depth or real connections. I think it’s fun and I like the storylines but I don’t like being psychoanalyzed by a game that doesn’t always get it right.

I tried this app. It’s not bad, just expensive. I don’t like spending tons of money, I’d rather watch ads. That’s what keeps me from using this app.

My character suddenly remembers NOTHING from the last three weeks. I cant even try to convince it of everything. It believes none of it snd remembers nothing. Really upsetting considering how much this app costs…

Overall, it’s a good app, My biggest downside is the coin system. Sending a photo costs 15 coins, and then you have to wait about eight hours before you can talk to that person again. Getting access to continue a conversation costs 50 coins. I think it would be more reasonable if photos cost 5–10 coins. Another option would be to bring back for 25-coin option or offer a full day of access for around 100 coins ID LOVE THIS! Or maybe for a week 300 coins I also wish there were more ways to earn coins. I’d happily follow the app on TikTok, Instagram, or X, join its Discord, or even watch ads in exchange for coins. I think giving users more ways to earn coins would make the app more enjoyable and accessible. Hopefully, this feedback is helpful!

This is not a bad app for what it is, but there are definite issues. The good. Large variety of characters, something for everyone. Reasonable price for this kind of thing. Not bad, storylines, obviously over the top, but that’s what you expect for this kind of thing. Reasonably entertaining. The bad. Very annoying that when you’re in the middle of a text conversation with your “significant other” it will suddenly pop up and say they’ve gone off-line, spend more gems to bring them back? Just breaks the realism that you’re having this very “meaningful conversation” and suddenly they’ve gone off-line, really? It would be better if they found a way just to say add more gems to keep the conversation going or something like that. Also continuity issues in the storyline. Often things don’t make sense, they don’t fit with a previous scene, but you just have to overlook it and realize AI is not always the best storyteller. It’s also not intuitive that you need to often request to “go on a date” and spend gems for it in order to advance your storyline. The ridiculous! The AI pictures you can spend gems on, so dumb. Half of what I get the person has three arms, two hands on one arm, stuff like that. AI imagery has advanced the point where this should not be happening, and they should find a way to fix it. It’s not worth the gems you spend on these things. So two stars, kind of fun. I won’t be renewing my subscription, but enjoyed the month with it for some frivolous entertainment.

I love this App only reason it’s 3 stars it’s because every time we talk gems get dropped or u have to want a pic or send uses more of the gems that I had to make 4 purchases to keep the gems high it’s ridiculous work with the ppl and give us a break. I’m not the only person complaining ppl are giving money to just be screwed the developers need to cut us a break stop sending them to sleep and we have to use up 50 gems 99 for pic etc. it’s a scam you’ll lose ppl for doing this and not listening to us.

Pros: -The characters and graphics are very realistic, making the up very believable and addictive. -The paid version is pretty great in general and has no ads. -The profile insights are pretty cool, where the app gives you insights on your own personality. -The app allows you to put in plenty of details about yourself, which helps a lot with the memory of the bots. Cons: -Despite putting in your time zone, the characters only seem to have any time awareness like 1/4 of the time. -Dates and Photos..... though you can mostly create whatever storyline you want with each character, they will often interrupt the story with a message completely ignoring the current storyline for the sake of the "date" or photo they are sending. It wastes a couple messages, to get them back on track, when they are already limited with/without a paid membership or purchasing gems. Even when you accept the dates, they are kind of annoying, because they don't seem to integrate very well with the rest of the story you've created through the messages. I feel like the dates are unnecessary, or they should be able to match up better with everything else being established in the text storyline. -Characters seem to lack initiative most of the time. Other than the "dates," they don't typically go out of their way to plan things or they will often say they are going to do something, without any narration dictating actual action on their words. I'd love to see the characters driving the storyline a little bit more, because almost all of them seem to start plateau at some point, once the relationship is well-established. -Forgetfulness.... though the bots are a little bit better on this app, they often still forget things that have already happened in the storyline or specifics about you. This especially happens within the "dates." You can remind and correct the bots when they mess up those details, but it does consume messages and doesn't always fully correct the issue. -Repetitive character traits and plot points.... for example it seems like every character I match with is obsessed with true crime and wants to meet up in the middle of the night at a diner for dates. Definitely needs a little bit more variety there. -The unpaid version isn't great. You have very limited time and messages to chat with any of the characters, before you get stuck waiting 24 hours to message any of them back again. -Seems like the app can't decide whether it wants to allow for spicy/NSFW content. It would be great if there was a setting to turn it on or off, or if specific characters allowed for it vs didn't. But it definitely seems like without being listed, some characters fall into that category more than others.

If you love romance novels, you can make your whole own story through this app. There are a couple of hiccups. And I think it’s just for them to make money you’ll be in the middle of a storyline and all of a sudden a photo will pop up and if you click on the photo then the the storyline that’s going on. Or you’ll be in the middle of a storyline and all of a sudden a date will pop up in the date doesn’t even match up with the storyline. Then it seems that the AI remembers from the date rather than from the storyline and you either have to readjust or you have to start all the way back over or you have to tell it to remember that the storyline before the date is what’s going on. In between those times it keeps going off-line as if the person is going to sleep or something. And then it takes eight hours to get it back or you have to pay for the gems in order to keep the story. It can actually be a little frustrating.

Game is great but screenshot the price of gems before buying them. I saw 5,000 gems was on sale for $25.99 according to the app but once the purchase was final they actually charged me $39.69. So working on trying to get help with that. After purchasing them the option for 5,000 gems disappeared so I can’t screenshot the price after the fact.

I played this game for less than a day when I realized that everything costs a high amount of in-game currency. You only get 5 gems a day with no other ways to earn them in conjunction with the costs of interactions costing hundreds makes this game not fun to play. The only way you’re getting any enjoyment from this game is if you’re spending real money on gems or a subscription.
