Favorites keeps getting erased

Ever since the iOS 27 update, Favorites keeps getting erased. Re-did it yesterday, and it force closed and when I reopened the app, they were gone. Tried 3 times again today, every time the app reloads (which is annoying by the way to have it reload every time you leave the app) the Favorites is gone. This is happening even with the newest Narwhal update today. Hope it gets fixed, the Favorites thing and the constant reloading of the app when you even leave for a second.
Update: Thank you for responding, and yes, you’re right, I wasn’t being fair. It’s just that when you pay for an app monthly, during these times, it feels a little more inconvenient. Appreciate you being a professional, and taking time to respond quickly. I will edit my score. Thank you again for understanding!

Not even free, worse than the official app if you do pay. Try something else

The app is fairly useless and a worse experience than the official reddit app. Not worth 4$ a month to not get ads. The UI is less intuitive.

Probably the best option on iOS, but still not amazing.
Better than the official app for seeing posts that are actually current instead of ones that are days old but have been elevated by Reddit’s algorithm.
No ads, which is great.
Still no support for pictures in comments. Also no push notifications for messages. Both of which are available on Android apps so it is possible even with Reddit’s third-party API restrictions.
Perfectly fine app if you just want to browse, but I’d want an app that could actually replace the official app. Sadly, this one ain’t it.

You’re immediately prompted to subscribe to monthly payments, otherwise you can’t use the app.
you MUST pay for using

Free until 5th slide, then there’s no option to use it if you don’t pay ANOTHER subscription pro
The BEST way to access Reddit

I’ve been using Narwhal for just about as long as it’s been available. It’s always been a superior Reddit interface. It’s highly customizable and NO ads. The Reddit app is unusable now because of how locked down it is. They spoon feed you everything and so many ads! None of that here. Because Reddit charges for API calls, you have to pay a subscription but it is 100% the most worthwhile subscription I pay for. The dev team is responsive and truly wants to make the best user experience possible. Not only is it a great way to access Reddit but is also truly one of the best designed independent iOS apps.
