  • Frustrating app functionality

My frustration with Qobuz is mostly related to the app on iOS. I’ve been randomly signed out of the app and consequently lost all downloaded playlists and had to redownload them, which takes forever. The player also randomly stops working, even when trying to play a downloaded song. Songs can also take awhile to buffer, even on WiFi. I rely on music a lot for work and delays or issues like this are disruptive.

i love this app soo much, around the same price range as spotify and has a pretty decent discography unless the release is kinda rare! one thing i would love though is if the playlists could have photo’s added to them!!
  • I tried to wait

I tried to wait for qobuz to get it together, waiting for the app to get better, for me to stop crashing out everytime the app would stop working or would recommend me the same garbage song, that I hate that I coincidentally can’t block becuase no such feature exists. I do feel guilty since qobuz pays artists so well, and has a clean record politically but how can I lie to myself the UI and interfaces and algorithm SUCK. I would like to return if you get some things in order first. Bye qobuz. I’m already loving DEEZER.
  • Not the best, but it’s still great

I got Qobuz because of the amount of AI that Spotify started using. The sound quality that Qobuz offers is something I cannot complain about— I no longer have to put my volume close to max on my car, at 25 I’m chilling. That being said, the songs will at time pause after changing of songs, some songs won’t load if you have no service despite downloading them, some of the song don’t even download correctly. Adding songs to queue is a little weird too, definitely something I had to get used to. Overall, I’m pretty content with qobuz though, the music recommendations is right up my alley, and I really love the quality of music that it offers
  • Cool app and getting better!

Overall good app, music quality is great. There are options on which audio quality you want on playback and for downloading songs when multiple options are available. There’s customizable library sorting, and you can have a saved custom sort for each playlist + the usual alphabetical and recently added. This app has great potential! Some features that’d be great to see in a future update: - a playback overlap fading between songs option would enhance make for a smoother transition - an option to customize playlist cover images - lyrics along with the song, this doesn’t have to be synchronized but would be cool to be able to scroll up and read along
  • A Better Future

Qobuz is taking a stand against AI while simultaneously paying its artists more per stream than any other platform. Part of the biggest impact we can have to fight against the commodification of art is to switch to platforms that are supporting artists. After using this App for the last few days, I can highly recommend it as an alternative to Spotify. (And it has much better prices, so it’s really a win-win). Leave AI slop in the trashcan where it belongs.

Much better than Spotify! I’ve noticed artists moving over and that makes me really happy. I’m glad you all pay well and I love this app. The only problems are when you get Pro, it takes a while to come into effect and, playback glitches a bit sometimes, and not all songs are available. But other than that, it’s amazing. Also, suggestion. Could you make it where you can add a song to multiple playlists in one go? Only if you want.
  • UI issues

This app is good, best for artists as far as the streaming model goes I guess. Audio is fine, free of AI slop and pure jank unlike spotify or what tidal became. My main issues are not being able to click the album art to go to the album, and if I try to use the bar to scrub through the track it usually closes the page and goes back to the search. As a working musician I often need to scrub around in a track to listen to sections to learn material and these issues have been driving me nuts. Beats spotify.

Their algorithm really knows how to introduce me to the right new music.
  • True black theme?

Really happy with the service so far. Honestly my only complaints are with UI design. Please give us a true black background in dark mode with less grey- All that grey is so depressing! Music should be fun! And the blurred album cover in the player background looks very dated. I'd honestly rather have black there too than the current implementation, though a more subtle album color match would be nicer.
