Pretty good app overall. The best thing for me is how it tells you how serious a problem is and if it’s okay to keep driving or not. I also like the live data stuff and how it explains codes in a way that actually makes sense. Being able to clear codes is nice too. The maintenance reminders are okay but I barely use them. My biggest complaint is that way too many features are locked behind the paid subscription. Overall, I would say that this app and OBD-II code reader product are a useful tool to have when it comes to understanding and maintaining your automobile.

Easy to use and provides helpful info. Especially great if you’re buying used vehicles at all. I just wish the app itself was more helpful at troubleshooting connection issues when the pod won’t connect or respond. (but that’s only happened once)

I have two 2004 Tahoe’s and I had engine light on both. I bought this gadget and within two hours both lights were off. I’m going to buy a second one now and will keep them connected in both cars. I recommend that every car owner, old and new, keep a OBDII diagnostic interface “FIXD” in their toolbox or glovebox. You will not regret it!

I’ve had mine now for a couple of years and it has been very handy. It at least gives me a heads up of what might be a problem. I would highly recommend it for a do it yourself or

The scanner read “fuel rail/low pressure”. The seller showed me where he replaced the high and low pressure fuel pumps. I thought I was getting an old code not yet reset or just a bad code. That was a mistake. The FIXD scanner and app were right on. Exchange of money and title and 6 hours later and I have injector O rings to replace. I won’t ignore the FIXD reading again.

I have used FIXD for years and it has reliably gotten me out of crazy repair costs by accurately diagnosing current and upcoming issues. Nothing like peace of mind when your check engine light comes on, only to find it is an O2 sensor and you are still safe to drive while 1100 miles from home! I love this unit!

Help file was useless. Interface is counter intuitive. Hard to find the important stuff.

The device works, but the subscription practices are extremely misleading. I only used the app to read engine codes and was never clearly informed I was signing up for a $99.99 subscription. Despite that, they attempted to charge me anyway. This feels intentionally designed to catch users off guard. A company should not rely on hidden or unclear prompts to enroll people in expensive auto-renew plans. I had to cancel and involve my bank just to be safe. That alone says everything. If you use this app, be very careful during setup and do not assume you’re only using a free feature.

Back on 8/01/25 our engine light begin to go on and off but the car wasn’t running hot. So we took it to the dealership and they put on diagnostic machine(cost $230)and we were told the “relay wire” needed to be replaced. So 12 days later, light came on again, return to dealership this time they said the diagnostic results were that we needed to replace the “Engine Control Module” (for cost of $1650) because it caused the “relay wire” to burn up. We didn’t feel good about this at all, but we knew we needed to so something, so we were repairing to have this done on 8/27/28. However, I decided to Jehovah God about this asking for his help on our decision. On 8/28/28@11pm I was playing a game and your ad popped up, so after researching it, I ordered it that night. Received it on 9/5/25, put it on that day and the scan showed the engine, transmission and advanced module system all ok and the engine light has not come back on since. I am convinced that Almighty God, directed these results and I am SO THANKFUL for all the hard work the 3 GA Tech graduates put into developing such a device because it has saved my husband and I a lot of money. Thank you so much!!

The scanner has helped out tremendously with reading codes on my truck. I really like how easy it is to use. I like all the functions it has in the app. I definitely would recommend people to get one.
