Description

Find new items first on eBay™ before anyone else. BayWatch monitors eBay and alerts you as new items are found. Simply create your watch, and BayWatch will alert you as new items matching your search are found on eBay. BayWatch also lets you simply browse eBay. No need to jump back and forth between eBay and BayWatch. View eBay item details, price, bids, description, pictures, and simply tap on Shop Now to head over to eBay and purchase. Watch individual eBay items that interest you, and receive alerts before the eBay listing ends, allowing you to check your bid and win. The essential app for finding rarely listed eBay items, and getting bargains at the best price. Find new eBay items first with BayWatch. When you click on links to various merchants in this app and make a purchase, this can result in this app earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network. These do not impact the price you pay.

I had questions about an issue I was having trouble with in using this app, customer support wrote back and explained features I was not aware of. Very good support!
  • Paid for the Rapid Discovery and it didn't work

As the title says, I decided to try the subscription that gets you results within 15 min instead of the default 3 hours. I had all the settings correct but it still completely missed a search that my eBay app emailed me about. Just a heads up that it's a cool idea if it's free but not worth paying since it's apparently not reliable.

The price range that you put in for BayWatch to track does not account for shipping prices. Is it that hard to include the sum of both into your desired range?

We’ve been using this app for a few years now and has contributed to our success on eBay. The app is very easy to use and the searches and alerts are very reliable. Customer service is also a huge plus.

It’s great, but for some reason I get a fair number of false positives. I get a notification and an app badge, but when I open it there are no new items. Also, why are there no longer subscription options? It’s rather pricey, and it feels like I’m constantly paying due to the longest subscription being 3 months.
  • Contact Support Button Does not Work. How to backup?

Update: I was able to contact support through their general email address. They replied speedily. I was told that although they don’t have an in app backup option all of my app data should be backed up and preserved as long as I have the app set to backup with my iOS iCloud backup. Also the contact support button only works if you have the iOS mail app setup with an email account. Because I’ve bypasses the iOS mail app entirely that is why the contact support button doesn’t work for me. Excellent support service and still enjoying the app! I am really enjoying this app and love all of the specific search details it allows you to input. I’m paying for the premium service for 15 min searches. Totally worth it. However, I’m trying to find a way to backup my searches so I don’t end up losing them if I lose my phone or need to reinstall app. I have nearly a hundred searches and losing them would be devastating due to the amount of time and research I’ve put in them for my business. When trying to contact support within app I click the button in the settings but it does nothing. Not sure how to get in touch with support to find out if it is possible to backup searches.
  • Opens by itself?

App states it must be open in background to work and not force close it. So I force close it. A few hours later… I’m getting notifications. So does it open itself up or was the statement untrue? It can only be one or the other. And why doesn’t the list have a link to open the item? The share button has a bunch of irrelevant text. I should just be Able to click the listing and be redirected to web or eBay app.
