Great App

I have been using this for a couple years now and it is really handy. I use the free version of it. I once tried to do the paid version, but it had trouble syncing across my different devices. But I have found I don’t really need it. I also like the feature where you can add photos with the timestamp of when you took it’s kind of what you have seen. And you don’t have to think about when it was you were at this place. It’s not fancy, but it’s really easy.

I refuse to pay to have access on both my iOS purchase and macOS. Sorry My data is in the cloud. Too bad you require more cash to access it on macOS natively. Also, “some” additional support for v 27 devices is so slow in coming, why should I pay for the sluggish adoptatation that you have had many months to implement and yet have not? Also, stealing my intimate data is so lame that you should be ashamed of your privacy practices.

UPDATE - AMAZING PRODUCT FROM AN AWFUL COMPANY! Wow! This is hands-down the best journal app out there! I use it every single day and I think the changes are great! After purchasing several different journal apps I got the original day one as a free app of the week and it just won me over, and with this new version they really refined an already great experience.

I have almost 5000 days of journaling. It is perfect for keeping memories, as well as remembering details about life.

Font switching still doesn’t work—just like before. You advertise the ability to change the font size and even use a custom font (I personally prefer Inter), but all I ever get is Helvetica Neue. If you can’t get this feature working properly, then don’t offer it in the first place.

If you like writing or journaling, this is the app you should have. I appreciate that the developers made it cross-platform (I use it both on my iPhone and my Windows computer). The only thing it might lack is a more convenient way to store different types of information. Then again, it’s not meant to be a database or a notes app in the first place. I haven’t seen a single ad, even though I am using the free version. I’d like to pay for premium, but I try to avoid subscription-based services. If there were a one-time purchase option or a way to donate, I’d be happy to support it.

Stepping from company to company

I've been using this app for years and it is immensely helpful, particularly since it's searchable. Brilliant for tracking moods, medical issues and the like. I wish the editing functions were better. It's difficult to place the cursor if you want to go back and change something.

I keep many daily notes and try to write something every day. I also send links from Safari to day one using the share extension thank you
