  • The Athletic Sports Coverage

    By XC DoReMi
The Athletic has skilled sports journalists but it covers the same sports I can read about from dozens of different sources and misses many of the best things going on in the sports world Where is the coverage of Jessie Diggens leading the World Cup? Where was the coverage of Sophia Laukli winning the final Tour de Ski stage or her dominance in trail running? The recent men’s win in Minnesota? Mikela Shiffrin? Martin
  • Horrible Update

    By Pac Dan hockey
Content has consistently gotten worse over the years. Would have given a higher ranking but they made it annoying to end my subscription.
  • I thought I was a subscriber

    By Hate me?
Why can’t I access subscriber content when I’ve paid for it? Seems like some days are better than others.
  • Getting half of what paid for.

    By Libertyjhawk
75% of the time I only get to see about half of the story. I get all the ads. Sadly a once really good place to read articles by some really good writers. I will not be renewing
  • Love The Athletic

    By Lincoln Lancers
I read “The Athletic” on-line and in “The New York Times.” I find “The Athletic’s” reflective and pan-sports coverage fully informative, original and compelling. Thanks very much for widespread and original - what?- informative topical essays. Jim C. Lincoln, MA

  • Paying and not getting what you paid for

    By 876864884
I bought 1 year Subscription to the New York Times, including the Athletic. Sometimes it lets me read it and a lot of times it doesn’t. It keeps asking me to pay for it again. I tired of this
  • Misleading

    By TexasKingwood
They don’t cover all teams anymore. Cutbacks mean nothing close or personal. Not worth investing unless they cover your team. A big drop off from it’s height.
  • Nets coverage-NOT

    By Bobbbbbbbbahsn
I thought I was paying for Nets coverage with my subscription but apparently not😢😢
  • Nothing like paying for a subscription so the content you enjoy gets canceled.

    By Bleedin Cubbie Blue
As a Cubs fan, I enjoyed the Onto Waveland podcast. It offered a sober analysis of what was happening on a week by week basis with the Chicago Cubs. If this is going to be The Athletic’s approach to cost cutting while still charging a subscription it’s pathetic and they have lost me as a customer. If it’s not a cost cutting measure, an explanation to paying customers is in order.
