    Although the main goal of this app is helpful, I feel like no one actually tested it out first before launching the app. When you pause your sound, a stupid “pause” symbol shows on the physical lamp, and you can’t see the time. Super annoying. Can’t we just pause the sound while still showing the time? And even if the app is “open” on your phone but you go out of the app and then come back, the app still restarts as if you’re starting it all over again. Also super annoying. And in conclusion, a premium plan for a sound app is absolutely bonkers. Ain’t nobody paying for that.

    5 times tried to chat to get assistance with WiFi Bluetooth connection. 5 times kicked me out. Deleting your useless app

  • Alarm is great but the app is not

    The app is very inconsistent and unreliable. For example, when you wake before your alarm, sometimes it prompts you to turn it off since you’re awake, but sometimes it doesn’t and it just glitches when you try to turn it off by toggling. Also sometimes the app just doesn’t work at all and you can’t update or set an alarm. It’s annoying that they force you to use an app that is so dysfunctional.

    I like what Hatch does but the app is not the most user friendly even for a fairly tech savvy person like myself. There are several simple app bugs I’ve encountered just in my first week of using it. Example: when I try to create a new alarm it doesn’t appear on my Home Screen until close out and relaunch the app. Also, there are multiple slots for different wind down routines but when I try to create these new wind down routines, the activities just get stacked onto the first wind down routine and the other open slots remain blank. Also, the app lets you set different alarms for different days of the week (I like this) but does not allow you to do the same with cues or unwinds…anyway, I like the premise and the lights are nice. Sound library is good enough. But the app is detracting from the value I get out of this

    I would love some Bible readings to be able to add to my Hatch. Falling asleep to Bible verses would be great!

    Hard to adjust the settings quickly because the app takes 3-4 seconds to load which seems unnecessary for an app that’s just a light and sound. Too much pushing of paid content.

    I bought the HatchRestore and I am very disappointed. It is so hard to navigate the app. I can’t just play any sound any time I want. It restricts it to wind down time. It’s just very poorly designed and has SO many glitches. I’m mad that I paid so much for this and can’t even get the basic things I want. Plus they make you subscribe to get all the sounds. I wish it would work the way I want it, but honestly is sucks.

    Subscribe to your premium but the app changed all up and it’s horrible. Rollback what I loved or I’m lost as a customer. The new changes aren’t intuitive won’t be used by most and eliminated what worked best (and I liked as premium). I don’t want previews and add to routines only. It’s so unhelpful to just easily refer to my standard, go tos. Worst now is no ad hoc play feature or to be able to use on my device, just previews. Stay far away from and don’t subscribe to this massive disappointment! If not acknowledged and/or fixed in the coming weeks I’m going to have to cancel, file grievance, request stop payments, and trash my nightstand paperweight I was about up until recently. If you care, hear me. I didn’t ask for feature suppression, routines, cues and plans as the only means to access my content. Having no way to use as I’ve relied prior is ruining my (what) sleep (?).

    The app is glitchy but forces you to buy hatch+ but surfacing all hatch + content upfront and no way to turn it off. Hire UX person and actually listen to them.

    i love the alarm but the app is sooo glitchy. when i’m trying to go to bed and wind down it can be so frustrating having to spend 5-10 minutes waiting for the app, restarting as it deals with crashes, and watching it error on simple tasks like changing the time of my alarm.
