    I have used Timeshifter on several trips outside the US (for example Japan). I consider it an essential part of my trip preparation and highly recommend it to minimize jet lag.

    Downloaded Timeshifter after receiving advice from Redditors when I asked about jet lag on a long flight. Unfortunately, the app only seems to be geared toward users who have normal schedules and can tailor their schedule to the app. I work odd shifts that didn't allow for following the app advice. It may be great for some, but it didn't work for me. Kudos for giving users a free one to try it out.

    I RARELY write reviews, but this is one I feel I have to write on. 5/5 highly recommended. The plan was easy to follow along start to finish. They offer your first time shift free, and $10 per plan after. I don’t love that price point, but it beats being sick and stuck in your hotel for a full day or two because you’re jet lagged and ill. I got very mild jet lag using the plan compared to my trip last year not following any plan, I genuinely can’t recommend this more.

    This app encourages people to take melatonin, without considering that it is illegal without a prescription in much of the world, (This applies because you would be traveling long haul if you have jet lag).

    I used Timeshifter recently for a trip from Northern California to Auckland, NZ. I’m glad I did — the instructions are very clear, and I experienced very little jet lag when I arrived in Auckland.

    My child who lives internationally and travels often recommended Timeshifter for our upcoming visit to see them. My husband and I used it and followed it pretty closely (we still had a bit of caffeine on one or two no-caffeine stretches) and it worked beautifully! I will be using it for all my long distance travel!

    I must admit that I didn’t expect this app to provide any real benefit to me. I am historically a terrible international traveler with regard to jet lag. I followed my time shifter plan to the letter on my recent trip to England and was amazed at how I felt and slept! I don’t understand it because the plan was relatively short and easy to follow but it truly did the trick for me.

    This app was very helpful for my trip to Europe. Very minimal jet lag after I followed the app suggestions for light exposure, caffeine intake and sleep time. Will definitely use this again!
