I got this for a relatively reasonable price via my workplace benefits. The “street price” is WAY too high and their renewal increases make them look like a scammy company. The web interface is nice, but the app is a little clunky, but useable. I have all app notifications turned off solely because of their stupid annoying “you’ve been logged out after 15 minutes of inactivity, but we’re still protecting you” notification. If you insist on annoying people with it, at least give an option to turn it off separately without just disabling all notifications like I did (because that’s how much it annoys me to constantly see it). I could use more than the allotted 10 bank accounts for monitoring, but I made do. I don’t use the Financial Monitoring because I’m not going to give Yodlee the “keys to my castle”. I also don’t use the Privacy Assistant Monitor because having them send my email addresses and phone numbers to scummy data brokers in removal requests completely defeats the point of protecting my critical personal information. This is the 4th identity monitoring service that I’ve tried and it’s disappointing that they all have substantial issues if you look too closely at what they really do, and it’s impossible to know how well they really work until something goes wrong. I’m at the point where I’ll either make do with LifeLock or just go without any of them and just continue with Optery for my data broker removals.

Credit scores provided are false, don’t depend on it if you intend to buy anything with a line of credit. About as useful as plugging a ships hull with hopes and dreams.
Peace of mind

Having LifeLock after a data leak (11 credit cards and two bank attempt takeovers) gives me peace of mind that someone is watching out for me. I’m alerted if anything changes or anyone tries to run credit in my name, access my accounts, open a line of credit or bank account, etc. Absolutely worth having.
So far so good

Thank goodness, I have never had to use their services, but I enjoy the peace of mind knowing that they are here if I need them.
Norton is a very confusing company. Too many separate product options add to the confusion.

PW Reset is Impossible

Why? As a software engineer, I would never make a user’s experience terrible. Does Norton even test the password reset feature? Probably not, but it’s useless with the app. Try it for yourself.

I had a Norton 360 contract for 5 devices. I had 4 covered. And suddenly realized I wasn’t covered anymore. When I paid the bill only 1 device was covered again. This is a nightmare to be starting over again! Having to do each one!
