    Really had high hopes for this but yeah as the other reviews state even after years the app does not work well nor is it intuitive to use at all.

    Ever time you put an update out I can’t see the camera on app. My camera is still working correctly I can pull the sims card and it has recordings on it. This same thing happened after the last update. I have deleted app deleted camera and reinstalled. I also still get notifications just can’t watch on app.

    On Nov 5, 2023 I update the app and when I open the app my camera was moved. How I have to add to the again. Sadly if I knew, that was going to been. I would have never updated because now it is winter and I cannot get to my camera to bring it in to scan it. So I bought a yearly subscription that means about 4 to 5 months I won’t be able to see what’s going on on my camera and it’ll be a waste of money so if you live in a cold climate like Alaska, don’t update your app. Make sure you do it when it’s summer and fall or you be wasting your money.

    I bought 4 cameras as I saw you could have up to 6 on one fee that was a great price for 4 cameras. Then after a week I had to purchase an additional $229 as the first fee was only for a little storage on each camera. It looks like I might have to pay this for each one. Not sure what I am going to do. Pictures are wood quality though. Just a set up to get money. It is also an international company. Will not buy anything else that uses this app

    There is no support and I purchased a cloud storage package and the program removed me from my account and I cannot log in to my account. I lost my money and I lost my camera.

    Waste of $ if you want to share your saved videos. You can’t email, text, or copy videos saved to your phone. If you want to share access to the videos the guest needs to register an account with UBox. Smells like malware.

    I love the camera, it’s functions, how it operates, the app is easy to use, I’m able to purchase more time with ease and with PayPal if I choose, great night vision, detects little movement soon as it happens as long as camera on high sensitivity. If you want less notifications set camera to low sensitivity or medium for a little less. Battery hasn’t went under 98% since I’ve had it for over 2 weeks now. 2 way voice talk works great! I’ve yelled at thrives and have told my husband things when he is in garage and don’t hear his phone😆. Videos save and I can download them and share/send them. Spotlight feature works automatically when it senses activity and it works when I view camera through the app. It’s GREAT for the price. I compared and studied many other options before choosing this one and it came with aim and ss card. Easy to set up as long as you read the instructions and fully charge camera one time before installing it. That’s been the only cord charges I’ve had to do. The solar panel does the rest. Now on to the but part of my reveiw. My ONLY concern is that I can NOT get notifications from the app when my phone is on Lock Screen. I mean I do get the notification it’s just that when my phone is on Lock Screen it will not make a notification sound. And I did everything Apple customer service told me to do on trying to fix this from clearing app cache to going to the apps specifics and setting them and to making sure phone software was up to date. Also the apps notifications are not time sensitive and urgent. I wish you could make the notifications on the ubox app time sensitive and urgent/important and also make it to when people like me can get the sound of the notification to go through when phone is on the Lock Screen. I even went as far as deleting all my debit cards in my wallet to turn off Lock Screen and I didn’t have a problem with sound notifications from the app, but I had to add my debit cards back to my phone because I use them daily with my phone and when I did and turned Lock Screen back on I couldn’t receive sound with the notifications from the inbox app once again. I just bought another one of these cameras because I love it so much. I caught thieves in action the day after I bought it in under 24hrs. Just please make this app where the notifications are time sensitive and important and can make a sound when notifications go through on phones Lock Screen. Then I could give this review 5 stars. Thank you

  • Frustrating and futile

    I’ve made many efforts to get this app to work with their cloud service, even after paying for it. Sporadic and unreliable to say the least. Now It won’t even allow me to purchase the cloud service anymore making my mini camera pretty much useless after only a couple months.

  • Camera does not move and pricy plans for cloud storage

    I purchased 2 of the cameras as I was referred by my friend. It worked great for 6 months, and started having issues after that. The camera movers stopped working. I reset the camera almost every month for it to work. Keep in mind the cloud storage is expensive and you have to buy subscription for each camera if you are trying to purchase more then one. I tried to using SD card to record and it does not work. The only reason I gave 2 star is the quality of the camera is awesome then most of the camera available in the market.
