I tried using a picture to search option and ended up getting way too ridiculously frustrated with the apps function to even find out if it was available. Then, when I reached out to them about an issue..no response. Now I see a charge for this month when I have already cancelled my service! So, in summation, User friendliness: terrible Customer service: awful. I wish my experience had been different because I utilize research apps and information on a daily basis so I’m hoping in the future it might change and become a useful tool with effective communication.

Genuinely, the developers do absolutely nothing to merit a TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLAR yearly subscription price other than hold a monopoly on information. Words can hardly describe how confoundingly broken, horribly designed, and ridiculously unoptimized this app is. To put it into perspective very clearly, I purchased a $250 yearly subscription and it WILL NOT WORK no matter what I do. They already have my information, yet ask for it again, then no matter what phone number I input to complete my already completed should-be-working profile, I can't proceed because I must "input a valid phone number". I seriously tried every possible number that could even be construed as a phone number as well as my own number multiple times, nothing. So now I have paid $250, can look up items, but instead of values being shown there's only a prompt to "upgrade to see prices", which no matter how many times I insist has already been done, will never update. Tried reinstalling, tried everything. Now I'll have to waste my time calling customer service TWO DAYS from now because they can't be bothered to have customer support of any kind on the weekends. The only reason I even consider this app is because my job borderline necessitates frequent access to market data for used goods older than 3 years - a market this company has an unfair monopoly over and the ONLY use case for bothering to interface with its horribly designed features. Said monopoly is the true reason behind this app being horribly buggy and broken for years on end. I already wrote a separate 1 star review on the google play store years ago, and even after multiple updates and overhauls, they still find ways to make the app horrible to use and broken. Here's some other great tidbits: -So called "sold prices" do not correctly show if the seller accepted an offer. This is horrible because a rare item might be listed for 5 years at $2000, sell at $200 on best offer, and the app will read as $2000, sold, still. App users have probably genuinely collectively lost tens of thousands of dollars being misinformed this way making poor investments. -Random listings that clearly sold on ebay are not available on this app. There is some kind of pre emptive attempt to curate what kinds of listings show up in search results on this app, and it ends up meaning lots of rare of a kind things that do sell on ebay do not actually get recorded here, and are lost to the sands of time the moment it's been long enough to fall from ebay's servers. I swear that certain entire categories as basic consumer electronics, cameras, radios, car parts, etc get massively culled from search results too which is incredibly annoying. -In house reverse image search (worthpoint's version of google lens) is a rushed and incomplete, for all intents and purpose not working feature. Shame because it would actually be extremely valuable to have a curated google lens that specifically searches sold goods, alas. For the love of all that is good, just carefully use the free 7 lookups if you really, really need to know the value of something and are a casual user, do not bother wading through these trenches unless you're 100% certain you commonly come across things not usually popping up often enough to be found elsewhere online. It's not *worth* it.

I thought I was getting a free seven day subscription, yet I was charged!! not only that, I tried to have the app identify several pieces of jewelry, which are pretty common and Google lens picked up with no problems and 100% accuracy. The WorthPoint app didn’t pick up a single one. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS WORTHLESS APP!!!!

Once upon a time this app was great, It has the Resources in the data base. Unfortunately, they upgraded it. Now it will never remember me once I just move screens, even if I set up biometrics. When you the try to log in the first try says you’ve tried too many times, then you are locked out until you can get them to unlock it. You will be paid full service customer and the app will tell you to upgrade to see the full scope of the item and the prices. When you log in it blocks you as if they hold the Kroger to Fort Knox , then I could not copy and paste as I could in the past . Last defaults seem counter intuitive. I wish this high cost would go into making it accessible to paid members. I have no problem using the free version with limited intel , but once you pay, you can’t even get into the app. Frustrating! I miss the app I enjoyed so much.

I can’t believe I pay for this service. Every update somehow introduces a new wave of bugs and glitches that never should’ve made it past testing. The app is anything but user-friendly—I constantly find myself fighting the search engine just to get basic information, because it’s so poorly optimized and incapable of handling even simple queries. At this point, WorthPoint feels like one of the laziest, most uninspired companies out there. There’s no way anyone involved is genuinely proud of this product. It’s only a matter of time before someone with real coding, development, and product sense creates a proper alternative—because there’s no way WorthPoint can sustain itself like this. If I could give a negative rating, I would.
