  • Love the app; customer support experience not great

    First, I want to start by saying that the app is great, I love the workouts, everything is all good there. My problem with customer service is that I specifically purchased the app on Black Friday when I got a pop-up saying that if I purchased that day, it would include access to gift the app free for a year to someone. I never got any emails or notifications on how to share this gift after. I had to reach out to customer service, who at first was helpful until they weren’t. They sent me a link to share with a friend but it was only the one week free trial. I sent screenshots of what it looked like on my friend’s phone and that they would be required to pay after the week and requested help with getting the year gift link. That was on December 1st and I received no reply to my email, nor did I get a reply to my follow up email on December 5th. It seems I’m just being ignored at this point. I think it’s incredibly deceptive to promote a perk for purchasing the app only to not be provided instructions and then ignored when seeking help. It seems like they never intended to honor it.

    I have never stuck with a fitness app, EVER. What I love is that the entire week is programmed, no selections needed. I also found a love for kettlebell workouts. Recently on a work trip I went and did an OTF class, which prior to CV I use to be a regular. I was a little nervous since I don’t do much HIIT anymore. But I was able to keep up with everyone. Overall, I really enjoy this app and the bell program!

    I honestly can’t be thankful enough of how amazing this app is !! This week is officially my 1 year with ladder app and 100lbs down !! I’m healthier, happier, and I could not have achieved this without the support and encouragement of my coach Andre Crews with TCC and the amazing community under his coaching ! I wish I could download a picture of how amazing this year is been to me and my body ! Nothing but the best !!! Love love love everything about this app ! I did the free trial last year around this time and yeah immediately purchased the whole year membership January first.

    This is my first time using any kind of app for working out so I was a bit hesitant at first but I am SO glad I went with Ladder. Even as a gym goer for the last 10 years, I have learned new cues and I love getting to the gym and not having to think of a plan. Highly highly recommend.

    I’ve never been so motivated to work out before. I’m the person who says “what should I be doing” once I get to the gym and Ladder tells AND shows me everything. The community is amazing. This app has made such a change in my life and I can’t wait to continue my journey

    I want to really like this app and have been trying to stay consistent, but midway through a workout it will give me a 9 min rep or say I’m doing a different workout then it’s showing me. Very frustrating! No way I could skip through the 9mins either so the entire workout was ruined. I also do Beachbody and have never had this issue. I also don’t like that the instructor is just put on a repeat vs actually doing the move along with us.
