I got this app in order to measure my blood oxygen. All it measures is my heart rate. It’s useless to me.

RN REVIEW: I downloaded this app because it was supposed to be able to use my watch to measure my O2 saturation. I was immediately hit with an annual fee of $25. In order to use it, at all. Because it said it was compliant with the Apple Watch I bought it. First, it doesn’t use my Apple Watch to measure, it uses my finger over both the flash and the camera at the same time which is not easy to do. And it doesn’t even measure my oxygen. It only measures my heart rate, then I have to do this weird tapping thing to measure my respiration rate. Then I have to ANDWER A QUIZ and then your oxygen level is fine based on your results OF THE QUIZ! As an RN I am flabbergasted that it thinks asking me if I am stressed can determine if I have a low oxygen level!!! This is DANGEROUS!

I like the app as it lets you know ahead of time to rest if your pushing to hard. Also it teaches you about other heart factors you should be aware of as well.

You MUST read through the entire written description very carefully! THIS APP DOES NOT MEASURE YOUR BLOOD OXYGEN. You need an oximeter or Apple Watch that measures blood O2 levels. All this does is count pulse and you count respirations with a timer. Then it ESTIMATES BLOOD OXYGEN. Don’t spend the money if you are a patient on supplemental oxygen or you have a chronic respiratory problem like asthma!!! You still need your finger monitor for O2 levels!

It doesn’t actually check your blood oxygen. I just guesses or you check it yourself with a device and manually enter it. It does NOTHING.
