    This is a great app for discovering and trying new drinks, and honestly, most of the recommendations have been a hit for me. However, the biggest downside is that you have to pay to see the ingredients and full details for many of the drinks. Those costs can add up very quickly, especially if you use the app regularly. Personally, I would much rather see ads in the app than have to pay just to access the ingredients. I think an ad-supported option would make the app much more enjoyable and accessible while still allowing the developers to generate revenue. Also, the response from the developers to reviews feels repetitive and doesn’t really address the main concern users are bringing up. Saying that the app is free to download, has no ads, includes dozens of free recipes, and is constantly updated doesn’t change the fact that users still have to pay to access information that is essential to actually making many of the drinks. I understand that developing and maintaining an app takes time and money, and I appreciate the work that goes into keeping it updated. But there needs to be a better balance between monetization and the user experience. Giving users the option to watch ads instead of paying for recipes would, in my opinion, be a much better approach and would likely make people more willing to continue using the app.

    You download it thinking “Oh. A secret menu app? That’s wonderful! Only to open it and find out that it’s not free. It asks you to subscribe for $7.00 A WEEK!!! That’s more than I pay for my actual Starbucks drinks! This app is awful!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

    I found this off an ad and as a barista myself thought this would be beneficial to helping me grow in my skills in making drinks so I got the app. However after waiting for the download to finish I clicked on it and if I had not read carefully I would be paying almost seven dollars for a menu that Starbucks doesn’t even know about. I refused to pay but I know that as a secret menu no employees know about this so even if you do get this subscription you will have to in full detail tell how to build each drink to the barista who takes your order. This is a waste of money and time don’t get this app you could buy the most expensive drink from Starbucks a week with the money you would waste here.

    The second you open the app it immediately asks you for a subscription required and nowhere is that mentioned before downloading the app or in the instagram post that I installed this app after seeing in the first place. Starbucks is expensive enough as it is no way I’m paying $7 a week on top of that. I could literally like, you know, actually go to Starbucks and support tha baristas an extra time every week with that kind of money lol. Maybe make the app ad supported and pay extra to remove ads instead

    Misrepresented. Misleading. Oblivious. Unaware. Thoughtless. And actually downright brash and presumptuous that anyone and everyone should and would want to pay for a subscription without being able to see any preview of what the subscriber has to look forward to, potential benefits from the subscription, even the basics of what the subscription offers versus not getting one. So having no clue there’s a subscription and money involved, you download the app and immediately are brought to a screen to pay for a subscription. A SUBSCRIPTION?!?! FOR WHAT?? I already have Starbucks rewards. No where from the Insta reel I found this to the App Store I downloaded it from did they mention a subscription or fee. Also no way to make sure you’re interested in what’s offered or in the app before giving up your money. It comes off self-serving and greedy. Most of all, it’s I’ll-mannered and tasteless because it comes off as another app/website/subscription you have to pay $6.99 WEEKLY for and one you’ll likely forget your paying while they are laughing all the way to bank taking our money!!!!
