Disaster Tracking Features: - Push notifications about nearby safety impacting floods, wildfires, and firefighting or emergency response efforts - Real-time updates as conditions change - Evacuation orders & shelter information - Active fire perimeters and progress - Flash flood warnings and threat levels - Current and projected river gauge flooding levels - Infrared satellite hotspots from VIIRS and MODIS - Wind speed and direction - Power outage size and estimated resolution time - Historical wildfire perimeters - Air quality readings - Street and satellite maps - Air attack and air tanker flight tracker - Save locations for quick access on the map Watch Duty is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We have relied on clunky county evacuations and communications for years that sometimes never came. Never been more informed, and in near-real time. They’re doing some incredible work at Watch Duty

Was heading out to dinner when I saw a lot of smoke down the hill from my house. About 5 minutes later information about the fire had popped up—giving me the exact location. Knowing that kept me calm and make educated decisions on what to do next. Make a donation to this phenomenal app

As a retired CAL FIRE Firefighter, I am of course quite interested in any tools that can provide Notifications of Fires in my area. I have been quite impressed with the overall timeliness and accuracy of your reporting! I also appreciate the ability to locate information on fires in other areas where friends and family live. Having the tool available when I am traveling is very positive for me… Thanks for providing this Watch Duty App!
  • Living in LACo and having a Firefighter in the family I get all the facts! Thank you:)

IT HAS BEEN MONTHS. I cancelled my subscription because no money. When I had money, I tried to resubscribe, and it WILL NOT ALLOW THIS. Deleting the account didn't work, it still won't let me resubscribe because it says I already have a subscription. NO I DO NOT. PLEASE FIX THIS IDIOT GLITCH.

Thank you so much to Watch Duty! Bravo for your incredible resource! My family & community, in a highly prone fire area in the rural foothills of the Yosemite/Stanislaus National Forests, are incredibly reliant on, and grateful for, Watch Duty! This literally saves lives and provides vital, reliable updates straight from command or officials. Beyond that, it also provides great peace of mind to be able to layer things like wind direction and the air response (Cal-Fire etc) to gage what my response/readiness needs to be. Thank you so much again!

The app was useful, and had great features, but my membership fee is worthless if it won’t run on my hardware
