  • Has now been blocked twice by Index

1 time, I get it and they said they would make sure it doesn’t happen again. However, it has now happened a 2nd time. For saying this… “50 minutes total. It will take us about15-20 minutes to do the course the first time. I’ll get an idea of what you will need to work on for the driving test or we can just do the course 2 more times in your vehicle.” The 1st time is happened I don’t know how long I was down, but it was overnight until noon the next day when I figured it out. This time, I was not getting responses from customers that normally respond right away. Checked and of course my usage has been blocked again I’ve been down for over an hour now and still waiting on support. I know I’ve lost one sale due to this and I’m pretty sure I’ve lost several phone calls. I’ll be porting my number out of here as soon as my work day is over.
  • Import contacts

The only major issue I have with this app is that it asks you every time to import your personal contacts on your phone. This is a business account used by myself and another person, the personal contacts are not needed. I wish there was an option turn off the setting that is always asking for the contacts.
  • Not getting messages

We use the template feature a lot as we have to send the same message to our new patients. This apparently freezes my account from time to time and then you miss any messages sent until they u lock it. This makes me lose so much business. I hate this app and the customer service is a joke.
  • Lacking support

The Index app lacks support. You can use the app to chat with a chat box that directs you to pre-written help articles. That’s cute for curiosity, but not very effective for actual problems. If you persist, you can chat with a real person (possibly?), but the conversation can lag at times and continue for an extended period. If a trouble ticket is created and it exists for 24 hours without intervention, the system assumes the problem is solved and closes the ticket. I’ve been unable to send or receive text messages in the app for almost two weeks now without resolution. Ticket after ticket is created (because the keep being marked as “solved” then closed) with the promise that someone or doing something, but the issue persists.

I’ve been using sideline which transferred into index for over 3 years now. Overall I really love the app, features like templates and having a record of my communications are super useful. The problem is that now that I have some data built up it has gotten incredibly clunky and slow!! Almost unusable unless I want to wait 15 seconds for a text to load etc. I’ve contacted support again and still no resolution. Must have something to do with how the code is structured.
  • Notifications Not Working!

Over the past month I have missed SO many calls and texts from the notifications not going off at all….no ringer, no red number indicator of missed calls, not text alert red number….nothing. Unless I physically open the app, no notifications come through at all. Guys, please….this is absolutely CRITICAL and has to be fixed. I haven’t changed any settings. It’s a problem with the app.

They have some good customer service reps but it seems as if you will be lucky to get them. They have no phone support it’s all emails and text. Customer service team will tell you they are escalating situation to their support team. You may or may not hear back from them. The first time they told me the escalated it the guy sent me one message I did what he asked it didn’t work yet I never heard back from him. That was in an email and I emailed him like 5 more times no response. Mind you they are 3 hours behind me. So when I open my original chat at 2:30 my time which is 11:30 their time only one response that was unhelpful is crazy.they are telling me it’s a payment but when I look on the App Store it says I’m good until the 9th of June.. I asked a simple question of what months payment did I miss.. I’m sorry our technical team will look into that for you.. you need a technical team to tell me what months payment I missed?? I’ve been dealing with this for 2 weeks now give or take.. multiple times case has been pushed to technical support.. with nothing solved.. when I first signed up with this company I don’t even think the index part of it was a thing I signed up under sideline.. sideline had the team sharing.. they took that off put it on index added a few more business features slapped a higher price tag on it. I signed up for sideline in either 2015,16 or 17 so at minimum I’ve been spending my money with this company for 7 years.. I can’t get a simple problem fixed and have received some of the worse customer service I’ve ever received

We use this for our small business and wish so much for a Do Not Disturb option for calls that come in outside of hours. Everything else is great but the evening and weekend calls need a “straight to VM” option please.

I’ve had the app one day and I’m already ready to move onto something else. My biggest problem is if you are connected as a team you get maybe 10 seconds to answer a call before it gets forwarded to voicemail automatically with their announcement system that you cannot turn off when connected as a team. By the time you answer the call, you barely have enough time to find the keypad to press one to connect the call., 98% of the time it goes right to voicemail. The announcement feature is incredibly useless when not connected to Wi-Fi and again you can’t turn it off. There’s too many steps to make when answering a call within 10 seconds or less so I miss half of the calls during the day. I use Apple calendar and trying to get the bookings figured out, but my phone uses my personal calendar and for the life of me couldn’t figure out how to get a booking for a client sending an alert. The booking section is now useless to me. Overall, I’m ready to start seeking another provider. my biggest reason is the delayed connections on incoming calls and having to press one to connect a call.
