Description

Dropbox lets you upload, save, and transfer photos and files to the cloud. Backup and sync your pictures, videos, documents, and other files to cloud storage and access them from any device, anywhere. With advanced sharing features, it’s easy to share and send photos or files to family, friends, and co-workers. Features: • Automatically upload videos and photos from your camera roll to cloud photo storage - all in the background - for easy video sharing and photo sharing. • Access any file in your account - even offline - and preview over 175 different file types with no special software required. • Easily send large files by copying and pasting a link you can give to anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. • Scan documents, receipts, IDs, photos, and more using your mobile device and transform them into high-quality PDFs, so you can view and send anywhere. • Sync folders on your PC or Mac to Dropbox with computer backup, and recover older versions or restore deleted files with version history and file recovery. Sign up now for your free Dropbox Plus trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage space - that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. And with Dropbox Rewind, you can roll back any file, folder, or your entire account, up to 30 days. Before starting a trial or completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. Your account will be charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off within at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime from your Apple ID account settings. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. • Title: 12+ Years as a Customer — Now I Can’t Access My Own Files Without Paying!

Rating: 1 Star I have had a Dropbox account for over 12 years, dating back to when my children were in elementary school. I have not added new files in years, yet suddenly Dropbox began notifying me that I had exceeded my storage limit and needed to purchase a monthly subscription. I have not changed how I use this account, so why is this suddenly happening? In an attempt to resolve the issue, I even deleted files that I wanted to keep. Unfortunately, that did not solve anything. Now I cannot access my own files without being prompted to pay for additional storage. These are personal files and memories that I have trusted Dropbox to store for over a decade. I have submitted a support request, received a ticket number, and still have not received a meaningful response. There is no accessible telephone support for customers like me, leaving me with absolutely no way to speak directly with someone about this issue. I have screenshots documenting everything. I am extremely disappointed in Dropbox’s customer service and the way this situation has been handled. After more than a decade of using this service, I should not have to fight to access my own files. I am requesting three simple things: 1. Restore access to my existing files so I can download them. 2. Explain why my storage limit suddenly became an issue when I have not been adding files. 3. Have an actual customer service representative respond to my existing support ticket. I do not want to purchase a monthly subscription simply to retrieve files I already stored. Dropbox, please take responsibility and resolve this issue.

Drop box is always trying to upgrade each time I log in even when things are shared with me. This is why I do NOT standardize on the platform

Keeps changing order of my files. Can’t add new piece in the middle of a file. No phone assist.
  • Desktop changed and screwed everything up

The changes they made to the desktop completely screws up the auto since I have had for years. It has always worked flawlessly until the update they did. You have to sign back in and it doesn’t recognize that you already have the folders set up and wants to rename them so it can create a while new copy on the desktop. Horrible update with no option to go back.
