    I’ve been trying to log in through the app since January 2025 and after entering my email and login info, it only directs me to a blank page. I tried everything - logging in using a code, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone - nothing works until now it’s almost November!!
  • Content is fine but app does not work in landscape on iPad

    Maybe it’s the millennial in me, but I hate typing something long and serious via my phone. I’d rather type it with a physical keyboard on my iPad. Unfortunately, this app only works in portrait me on the ipad which is terribly annoying. Please fix. Otherwise, why download the app if I’m going to be directed to the web? Jira ticket. Please and thank you. JK. but not.

    Since I have account for caregiver position they dont let me open account for hire someone, I created my account for nanny jobs but I also have someone to clean my house why care.com needs to be that complicated!! Deleting both apps

    I am extremely disappointed with the quality of service and accountability on your platform. I pay for Care.com expecting reliable childcare support, but instead I’ve experienced wasted time, stress, and zero meaningful assistance from your company. Recently, I hired a babysitter through your app. She worked with my family for only 2–3 weeks before suddenly quitting because she found a job closer to her house. What is frustrating is that she never mentioned the commute being an issue during interviews or trial days. Everything seemed “perfect” until she abruptly bailed. This situation left my family in a very difficult position because I also have a job and depend on childcare reliability. Families invest time interviewing, scheduling trial days, onboarding caregivers, and adjusting their work schedules. When caregivers suddenly leave without proper notice, the impact is serious. Care.com needs stronger policies and accountability measures for caregivers using the platform. If a babysitter accepts a position, there should be an expectation of professionalism and reasonable notice before leaving. At minimum, caregivers should not continue casually browsing for new jobs immediately after accepting one without transparency. I also posted a new job request immediately after this happened, and the applicants I received were completely unprofessional. Many profiles seemed questionable, and several people never responded after initial contact. It honestly makes the platform feel unmonitored and unreliable. Care.com should: Monitor and verify caregiver professionalism more carefully Remove or penalize users who repeatedly ignore messages or ghost families Improve response accountability on both sides Provide emergency or temporary backup options when caregivers abruptly quit Offer actual customer support when paying members need urgent help Right now, it feels like Care.com collects subscription money while taking no responsibility for the quality, reliability, or professionalism of the people using the app. Families are left dealing with the consequences alone. I expected much better from a platform that markets itself as a trusted childcare solution.

    After adding pets to profile, you have to re-add for each job. Then when trying to add multiple pets, it errors out, essentially becoming unusable.

    I paid for the 3 month plan. It was an absolute scam. Every person who i reached out to and they responded were obvious scammers. I had not a single applicant for my listing. When I asked for a refund they denied the request! Would not recommend this app.

    Extremely frustrating app. FYI: despite looking like you can log in and message people, attempting to message someone prompts an upsell, after paying and going to message that person, instead it posts a job many can apply for, instead of using your message in the job, it posts a generic message, when someone applies, before you can respond you need to agree to a third party ID check. That was the last straw for me, I’m sorry to whomever applied to the job I’m sure you are great. I just really don’t want to do any business on a platform that is so manipulative with its design.
