  • Suggestion

I love this app and it is well worth the subscription price. I would like to make a suggestion - I occasionally print a recipe for someone or email it. I would like for the picture that is on the recipe to show when I print. I would also like to print on 4x6 or different size cards as I am working on gifting a recipe book to my son. My favorite feature is the scale that gives you the ability to double the recipe or reduce. Thanks for this app!

Great App but it keeps freezing-I tried to let them know a while back but they blamed it on me. I wish it would get fixed-it’s been happening for over a year!
  • No easy export of recipes

Would like easy way in app to export individual, multiple and entire recipe contents into files that can be used by other recipes management apps.
  • Apple Notes is free

There is a subscription fee for this app. Not sure why, because I only keep my own recipes there. I just simply switched to Apple Notes. Done, you’re welcome.
  • No Improvements

I have been a loyal subscriber for over 5 years, even before it was a subscription based app. Unfortunately, even though I truly love this app, I am paying for nothing! There have been no updates nor improvements since I started paying for it. There are so many additions the developer could make to justify the subscription price, but despite my asking, I have been ignored. I wish there was an app that could live up to my standards.
  • Not worth the phone storage

This used to be a good app... had this for years but then they stopped updating it. Now they're charging $2.99/mo to use it. What a rip off. Moving on to something else even though my recipes are being held hostage for ransom essentially.
  • Way too expensive for nothing in return

$2.99/month to access my own recipes while they don’t even do any upkeep is highway robbery. Don’t be fooled, there are plenty of cheaper and even free options as good as or better than Pepperplate ever was.
  • Meh

Downloaded bc I read in a blog how great it was and then the first recipe I went to upload from the browser was “not supported”. I’ll pass.

I’ve used Pepperplate since it was first available. I have a wide variety of recipes from innumerable sources - lots from family members passed down from at least four generations. I also maintain a recipe collecting website, only for special recipes that we’ve found to be favorites. In Pepperplate, I keep recipes I’m going to make, someday, too. Need to size them up, or down, create menus, or shopping lists? This will help you. As a software tester, I can promise you this app is well written and user friendly. So much so that I didn’t mind it when it started costing to use it. I’ve been in so many situations where I could pick up my phone and share a great recipe with a friend. Make suggestions to the programmers - even great apps can be better.
  • Great Menu and recipe app

I love it! I can copy recipes and put them in my recipe box, translate them. Terrific. The only downside is they should keep calendar and menu planner in sync. If you did an Easter week menu for example in 2022, you should access it to use it again. To be able to to not only save menus but in a calendar.
