  • Loss of Control

In typical Microsoft fashion they’ve taken even more control of how you work and what you type. There’s no way to turn off the conciseness checking which is absolutely ridiculous. I don’t want to be scolded every time I don’t phrase something the way co-pilot AI wants me to.
  • What I Think About Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a computer program that many people use for writing. I think Microsoft Word is a very helpful and important tool, especially for students and workers. It makes writing easier and helps people create neat and organized documents. One reason I like Microsoft Word is because it has many useful features. It checks spelling and grammar, which helps me fix mistakes in my writing. It also has tools that let you change the font, size, and style of words. These tools make assignments look more professional and easier to read. Microsoft Word also has templates that help people write things like reports, letters, and resumes. Even though Microsoft Word is helpful, it can sometimes be confusing. There are many buttons and options, and it may take time to learn how to use them all. However, once you practice and understand the program better, it becomes much easier and more useful. In conclusion, I think Microsoft Word is a powerful and reliable program. It helps people write better and stay organized. Even though it can be difficult at first, it is worth learning because it improves the quality of written work.

I tried using it but I belivee some work was lost so now I've given up. Are there tutorials or more detailed explanations. I wanted it to sync between my phone and computer & thought it was set up. Now I"m afraid to use it!
  • From Great to Glitchy

MS Word has been a staple in my software collection for decades. Recently, all of the AI additions have made it a chore to use. I cannot write a draft without some bot tapping me on the shoulder asking to help or make a suggestion. It interrupts my flow and train of thought. Please just let me be. I will ask for help if wanted or needed, right So I turned it off. The bot would not tell me how. I had to ask Google. Now that I have turned off the AI feature, the product is glitchy. It’s no longer smooth to edit. I would throw it out the window if I could. Word Perfect, you need to make a come back and offer a version without the requirement that users turn on prompts that disrupt our work.

After updating to Microsoft 365 I wish I hadn’t made the change. So confusing to a new user… especially if user is working on an Apple product. Almost all the information I find is Windows related! That doesn’t help ME!

A very annoying security system for regular users, I hope your life who did this for us, regular users, will be the same! Tough, annoyed, and irritating!
