I got scammed two times on OfferUp by purchasing two different PlayStation two different times both which times the PlayStation didn’t work when I went to make a report offer up did nothing about it. This is also an ineffective website to sell your products on. I’ve had my Funko pops here listed for one year or more, and I have only sold one. Funko pop within the last year. OfferUp is completely useless because every time you get a message thinking that it’s a Buyer it ends up being an advertisement. Facebook marketplace is a lot better than this website.

After this most recent update, a simple search takes monumentally forever (sometimes just seemingly in a never-ending search loop). I searched a brand, and it just never loaded. Instead, tiles appeared to be loading that didn’t populate with info. Yes, I am on Wi-Fi with speeds above 300mbps. Come on, OfferUp.

The app is ok but when you are looking for something if you close the app you have to start your search again from the beginning and scroll through all the stuff you have looked at already. It is a real pain having to look at the same things over and over again.

I’ve used OfferUp for many years and it used to be my go-to app for buying and selling locally. Unfortunately, with each update it feels like the experience has gotten worse instead of better. The biggest issue is the number of ads. There are times when it feels like I’m scrolling through more advertisements than actual listings. The constant interruptions make the app frustrating to use and take away from what made it great in the first place. As a seller, another major frustration is the inability to simply renew or refresh a listing. Instead, I often have to delete and recreate listings just to get visibility again. Other platforms make this process much easier and more user-friendly. Because of these issues, I’ve found myself using Facebook Marketplace much more often. It’s easier to manage listings, reach buyers, and avoid the overwhelming amount of advertising. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews because I genuinely used to love this app. However, the current experience feels cluttered and less focused on connecting buyers and sellers. If the developers reduce the ads, improve listing management, and bring back a more user-focused experience, I’d gladly update this review and reconsider using OfferUp as my primary marketplace.

i’ve been using it for years and it was fantastic and I used to pay for premium and now I can’t even upload a photo. It tells me my Internet connection is unstable and it takes forever for it to access a gallery. I’ve tried it on android I’ve tried it on iOS and I can’t believe that the app is broken like this.
