    Never remembers where I leave off an episode and plays involuntarily when I pause it. Very frustrating. I never leave reviews but this app is terrible

    You better make sure you finish the entire movie or episode you are watching! Because the Stars app will NOT save your place. Your library is not good enough for this kind of inconvenience!!

    I paid for a year last May 29 and can’t get it in me app. I keep getting notes saying to update and do, tried deleting the app and getting it in App Store but nothing…. Frustrating!!!

    The only way I choose to pay for my subscriptions is through Apple’s In App Purchases system. It looks like STARZ doesn’t want my money so I guess I’ll be fine without.

    I’m 3 months into a 12 month subscription and I’m going to delete my account. Nothing but hassles! No amount of money is worth putting up with app. Absolute garbage! Jokes on me I can’t even login to delete it! 6/7 came back since i still have 6 months left on my paid ad free subscription. just set through 30 second not skip-able commercial. Criminal scam!

    Spent an afternoon with Fios Rep, who tried everything that he could to get the App working. He said this is a persistent problem and Fios knows about it. This happened before and it took a while to fix. He was very helpful. But still no luck, can get it on my harded “wired” tv and the Fios App for now.
  • Terrible streaming app 😭😭

    I downloaded this app so I could watch the final season of Outlander, and honestly, I’ve had such a frustrating experience. It takes forever to load, and it doesn’t save my watch history, so every time I open it, I have to search through the episodes and try to remember where I left off. Overall, it has not been a very good user experience.
  • STARZ App Needs Significant Accessibility Improvements for Blind and Low Vision Users

    As a Blind/Low Vision customer, I am disappointed that the STARZ app is not fully accessible. Accessibility is not a luxury—it’s a necessity for millions of people who rely on screen readers and other assistive technologies to independently access digital content. Throughout the app, there are unlabeled buttons, controls that are not properly identified by screen readers, and navigation elements that can be difficult or impossible to use without sight. Certain features lack appropriate accessibility labels, making it challenging to browse content, manage account settings, and fully enjoy the streaming experience. For a major streaming platform, I expect accessibility to be built into the user experience from the beginning, not treated as an afterthought. Blind and Low Vision customers pay the same subscription fees as everyone else and deserve equal access to all features and content offered by the service. I strongly encourage STARZ to work with Blind and Low Vision users, accessibility professionals, and assistive technology testers to identify and resolve these barriers. Improvements such as proper screen reader support, clearly labeled buttons, accessible navigation, consistent focus management, and ongoing accessibility testing would make a significant difference. Until meaningful accessibility improvements are made, I cannot recommend the STARZ app to other Blind or Low Vision users who depend on accessible technology for independent access. Rating: 2 out of 5 stars
